Morning nipple ring inspectors.
Came into work early to receive some equipment which could only be delivered at 7am.
COFFEE SUSTAIN ME THROUGH THIS TRIAL!
On the plus side, at 2:45pm I begin a 4 day weekend so that's nice.

At least he was a really cool guy who did what I needed him to and cut me a good deal for it. Still hate burning PTO for this stuff.
Took the extra time off and put it to good use, though. Engaged in significant destruction of ugly plants around my property, firepit is happening within the next week, and I shall burn the ugly plants!
Then...I don't know. Probably beer around the fire and maybe a marshmallow or two, because I'm a six-foot-tall child.

It seems everyone operates within bank hours. I'm glad I live so close to work so I can just run home, deal with stuff, come back and just stay a bit later or something to make up the time. Still a hassle, but slightly better hassle.
Yeah, I mean, part of me gets it completely. I don't want to work odd hours, why would they?
I just think to some extent we still work very much on an old-fashioned mindset of there always being someone at home with the kids or who works second/third shift down at the mill.
Edit: Clearly the solution is for my wife to get rich so I can be a trophy husband.

Idk buddeh! having some pretty serious manpower issues at work, which is leading to me being busy all day, and grouchy. rather than spread my misery here, I've just been trying to get all this ***done so I can maybe be at peace again one day. such is life. there's a long weekend coming up though, and I'll need the respite. My neighborhood is such a wild shitshow during the fourth, that should be pretty entertaining. I think I might have to go out to dinner with a buddy and his wife tomorrow, should be goods.
Basically 2 hellish weeks in a row there with not much time to talk. looks like things should be returning to normal after the break so I should be back around soon enough.
You've managed to make me laugh a couple times throughout my trials though, so all is not lost.
GoT season was sweet, have been meaning to try to get here and talk that up as well as a ps4 game called '7 days to die'. changa and I got that earlier this week, it's zombie fightin' / survival, fun stuff.
that's about all I know, done sold my soul to the company store...
