I can't even take credit for that golden .gif find. Mos threw it in the mix years ago, and it still makes me laugh a bit.
He does make state-wide headlines for random acts of kindness here and there (the people on the receiving end are the ones who shell it out to local outlet, usually). Seeing him cut up with Nolan Ryan at Rangers games is pretty funny. He's also a patron of one of the small art galleries in Port Aransas that we frequent in the summers.
IDK. Removed from politics, he seems like a completely nice(?), well-intentioned, goofy galoot.

So the eldest got to go on the group tent trip this year (they take the 2-3 year-olds, grab a bus to a beach area, and spend the day out there (taking naps in tents). She had a great time; the pictures are fairly amusing, particularly since it seemed she was on the go in a good portion of the pictures.

yes...I have a case of the mondays.
I was the charcoal king yesterday. I grilled, smoked, and flame roasted all of the things...smoked some thai basil garlic wings and roasted some red peppers for appetizers, roasted corn in the husk, slow roasted lamb chops for an hour and a half, grilled steak chicken and white asparagus....
it was awesome... but today... not so much
