I can't say I dislike GoT because I haven't given the show a chance because I could never get into the books so I never bothered with the show.
But I really wish some of the series I like would a) have stuck around or b) ever been made in the first place.
It's very weird having geekdom blow up the way it has in popularity and still not seeing a lot of your favorites when it seems like every week there's a handful of new projects being announced.

I tried. I've just never been one for fantasy/fiction as far as leisure reads go.

I have seen a few eps of BBT, not my style, MC is annoying af, dislike the charater and the actor.
30 mins for a chuckle or 2 is really not worth it. M&M atleast has fat racist jokes, which gives like souble the chuckles.
Also. Actress that plays Molly should stop doing movies.

But you'll have a little buddy that favors you no matter what the circumstances, even if she is naive to the goings on that parents keep to themselves for decades.
Dad is the coolest. Dad is the most fun. Dad plays video games with us. Dad is never the disciplinarian. Dad let's us watch things Mom objects to.
You can milk that for a decade and a half.

Because Paramount is apparently making all their Star Trek related income through new movies and suing fan productions.
I don't dislike the new movies -- I think the cast is outstanding, to be honest, and I really like them all in a lot of their other work (Pegg & Urban especially) -- but something about JJ's Star Trek movies just feels...off. I think it might simply be that JJ was ***' money with Star Wars, and it sheds light on the fact he's really more of a Star Wars type director, not Star Trek.
Or it could simply be that for some of us, TNG broke the mold and everything else is just collectin' bills with the license.

Dorky stream of consciousness post out of the way, how is everyone today?

Warmed up from 40 degrees at lunch to a nice 65 after work yesterday, so I mowed the lawn and then made cheesesteak pizza from scratch. Calling it a win.
I've been trying to get more fish into our diet. I've always been sort of stuck on the white fishes (tilapia, cod, halibut, etc.) because that strong fish flavor of things like salmon bothered me. Lately though I've been experimenting because fish is really good for you and I should be eating more of it.
Made some wild salmon in a bourbon glaze the other day that was some of the best fish I've had in a long time and it didn't even have that telltale salmon fishiness.
So apparently the secret is buying the really expensive salmon and spending way too much time preparing it. Go figure.
