i guess i just see it differently if there's a difference between a product not working as intended vs a product lacking particular features.
and yeah i'd definitely practice the presentation and do background research on the company and try my best to have all the bases covered. If there's features the customer requests and those could be implemented or if there's workarounds then i'd push for those. The question is really: how do you handle a moment where you fail to deliver what the customer expected? How do you alleviate the hesitation in continued business that the customer then possesses?
It's basically: how do you charm and or *** someone into giving you a second chance? Of the things that could be marked out on the "To Do" list only one was accomplished. I got a job in sales once, didn't want it but it was something I was forced into when I was on a business course years ago. Was me and a couple of guys going round to companies basically trying to sell them stuff they would never need or ever want. Guy I was with told one manager we only had a limited stock of said item, to which I just blurted out, we got a van full of em over there. Yea, that was the shortest job I`ve ever had lol.
