I agree with both niko and misa. I would add however that idk if it would be fun solo.

And I mean them no offense. But The Witcher 3 is absolutely the greatest game I have ever played and may have broke the mold. Without nitpicking very, very specific things I don't know how you improve on it. Edit: In the process of moving I didn't have internet or was just too tired to log into XI and interact, and played W3 a ton. I logged into XI the other day and was just like, "why am I even playing another game right now?" Took me a good 3-4 logins to even get around to doing anything in XI again. See, I haven't even played W3 - I've based my opinion completely on how they act as a company. Substantial pre-order bonuses, engagement with players, a dozen+ pieces of free DLC; you get what you pay for and then some. Yeah. Also all valid. I don't know about pre-order bonuses, I must admit I sort of just happened into the whole shebang fairly recently. My wife read something good about the second game and decided she wanted to play the series, then after about 10 hours of the first game she felt she needed to read the books too.
I already had the first two games that I picked up on sale on Steam a while back. But as far as the DLC/etc...yeah. Definitely a good purchase. Player engagement I can't really speak to as my online presence for non-XI stuff is pretty minimal...maybe I should step up in that regard. So I thought about getting Witcher 3 but...iono if its worth getting it now especially since Dark Souls 3 is right around the corner.
hrrrgghh. So i'm downloading Witcher 2 while I wait for this lady to call me for a prescreening call for a job :/ Spath I'm 'Saphrim' on there if you need ps4 buddies.
Think I sent you a request.
Morning!

So i'm downloading Witcher 2 while I wait for this lady to call me for a prescreening call for a job :/ While you can largely get around playing 1, 2 feels a bit more vital to me before 3, especially if you haven't read the books. But that could just be me. If you've read the books, you can more or less skip 1 & 2 knowing the following: All that said, 3 is an amazing game and if you're into Dark Souls for the challenge factor, playing The Witcher 3 on the higher difficulty modes is pretty rough too...though admittedly probably not as tough as Dark Souls. Edit: Just try to get me to shut up about The Witcher for more than a few hours. You can't! volkom said: » while I wait for this lady to call me for a prescreening call for a job did PARKER finish polishing your resume? I told him to add some charitable works in there... All I know is that my St. Paddy's day is planned and I took Friday off.
I've got a date with this puppy, my beautiful wife, and some video games. yes, nothing shows your appreciation of saintly deeds, clean holy living and good works... like getting so shitfaced you can't work the next day.

Please, Nik. I'm a professional. I chose to not out of respect. As for the rest...you're just being an ornery old coot. Cram a cigar in your facehole and puff. You'll calm down eventually. Let people enjoy their vaguely religious-inspired secular excuse to celebrate Irish heritage and whisky in equal proportion! Everytime I start to comment in P&R, the point is crystal clear in my head but it ends up shotgunned into a post and gets all mixed up.

Ramyrez said: » Let people enjoy their vaguely religious-inspired secular excuse to celebrate Irish heritage and whisky in equal proportion! my wife asked me to explain the river of green puke that is SAINT PATRICK'S DAY in AMERICA.... for all I know everyone in ireland goes to church and quietly prays for salvation... but somehow in the USA we pass off self induced alcohol poisoning and obnoxious public behavior as "irish heritage" and nobody accuses us of stereotyping prejudice or bigotry....so... /shrug PARKER go get a shamrock shake and a chocolate shake from mcdonalds and a bottle of irish whiskey and throw them all in a blender we'll call it the irish brandy alexander and make millions I want some spaghetti and meatballs for dinner.
Truth be told I never get truly shitfaced on the day. I honestly do appreciate my Irish heritage and that's where my desire to celebrate the day comes from. It was instilled in me in a young age by the actual Irish members of my family.
The thing about the Irish is, however, the drinking thing isn't a stereotype as far as I can tell from any reports I've ever received. We call it St. Patrick's Day. They're just going to call it Thursday. But we're (that is, myself and them, I don't know about the idiot college kids in Boston drinking green American Lager) both going to drink the same way. A few pints and a few drams of whisky -- just enough to get tight -- and then call it a night. Anna Ruthven said: » I want some spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. It's gotten much better, really. |
