I liked the movie quite a bit. My concern is that studios are going to learn the wrong lessons from it; we don't need more R-rated stuff, or more silly stuff, or whatever else, necessarily.
What we need is *different* stuff. Deadpool filled a niche, both in terms of tone (hard-R but light hearted) and schedule (nothing else was playing). Spread releases out, do things no one else is doing, and people will show up, because the alternative is talking to people and that's some ***

when I was younger I think I would have wished for some more exciting things to do on the weekends...
but now I prefer to watch things happen to other people on television...and then laugh at them... and then play ffxi...and then smoke a cigar.... and drink some whiskey
and stand outside and feel the cold breeze on my face and look at the sky and smile because I don't have to do anything else...
maybe I'll pick up sticks in the yard...or scoop up the dog poop...
I like to collect these calm little moments of absolute nothing of importance at all for later in the work week

I am done dealing with idiots today.
The main army arrived and has been wearing down the front lines. I pulled up part of the vanguard to help deal with them, but they're... crafty.
The archers opened fire with a barrage of logic which was ineffective against their armor. Losses are too heavy, I'm calling for a retreat.

sunday i had a good three hour period where i had nothing at all that "had" to be done, and there wasn't anything that seemed interesting. i started to be kinda bored. i sat down and had a smoke and wished that the day would be as slow as possible.
that three hours dragged and i listened to music and watched as it got dark. pure heaven.

Morning all. I hope it finds you in tune with your environment.
Played 'the division' beta all weekend. It was great. heavily built up on cover and squad based fighting, so even the PvP feels like a co-op. good ***' times. the PvP area was an open map and everyone goes in neutral to find loot. you can turn on other peps at anytime, and 'go rouge' which gives all other players the opportunity to kill you without penalty. It made for a ton of weird unexpected situations and a general feel of uncertainty while you're in that section of the game. Single players were murdered on sight. so funny.
I'll probably drop 60 bones on it.
sup with the rest of all yall? anyone do anything more exciting than sitting on their *** playing videogames all weekend?

We were at my uncle's house and the daytona 500 was on the tv... cars going in circles for hours...
I wasn't really watching it but I saw a couple of crashes and then after hours of it being on there was like three laps to go or something and my uncle changes the channel missing the most exciting finish in the history of racing...
or not, and who the *** cares, but we as a group had already invested all that time watching up until that point, why not wait five more minutes for it to be over!?

I think watching sports was both of my grandpa's way of unplugging their brain for a couple of hours.. zone out on baseball or foosball or whatever, drink beer and smoke cigarettes.

Alyria is the most social female, gets groped a lot without provoking it by others, and Tairo ends up stabbing people for it. Cai is just a barrel of lols, I might be gay for him. If I wasn't straight.
Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
