I always revert back to his role in the 'Amnityville Horror' remake and whatever college movie it was that he did in the early 2000s.
Ugh...I've been trying to avoid the "If I don't get to have fun, you don't get to have fun!" crappiness since this season has been bonkers.
Getting older makes it so much easier to give a great big "*** off!" to people who don't matter, but so much harder balancing other stuff without stepping on toes. :/

but I can see if you were just starting to read comics then that deadpool might seem original and entertaining

Admittedly he was the first like that I really got into. Also realize I grew up in a podunk town that comics were limited to one local newsstand, really, that didn't get the full spectrum of even marvel and DC. Image, eventually, started showing up...but that was toward the end of my comic book reading years. And before the internet proper.

As for his character in Independence Day...meh. Aliens should have won. The entire plot was pretty weak imo.
