A guy I grew up with showed up at my house on bath salts on saturday morning at 4:15 AM. It was one of the most unsettling things I've ever seen in 33 years of life. Throw everything you thought you knew about drugs out the window, this stuff made an absolute lunatic out of a normal dude. I started my weekend thinking I was going to have to kill an old friend in self-defense in a walgreens parking lot at 6am in 10 degree weather.

Okay. That is crazier.

Side note: Bath salts were "a thing" when we were teens? I had no idea people snorted bath salts until that Florida incident a few years back.

EDIT: Misread. Was this in your adulthood?

maybe it's just me...and my paranoid psychosis..and all my friends are crazy ***...but I have never let any of my friends into my home ever. wife's friends. sure... but not my friends /shudder

*** friendship... you got a wife and children to protect for christsakes mosin... meet them at a bar or a restaurant.

my house rule is nobody comes in or out of my house between midnight and eight am. even my sons. if they can't stumble home before midnight they can sleep in a *** ditch for all I care.

Edit: anyone trying to enter my house during restricted hours is met with extreme naked screaming violence.

You're young though, you probably haven't gotten a call from the cops that they caught your kid drinking in a park after hours. You need to stay on your toes when those little buggars start roaming around on their own. You never know when you might have to go pick them up at the police station.

I've never heard of tamales for Thanksgiving, but I don't need an excuse to eat tamales and I'd certainly never turn them down. Green bean casserole gets old anyhow.
