Isn't this a Jim Gaffigan thing?
But yeah. I frequently feel like I'm the friend that has to be prepped for.

Siren.Mosin said: » Caitsith.Zahrah said: » Crazy thing happened this weekend. that isn't crazy. A guy I grew up with showed up at my house on bath salts on saturday morning at 4:15 AM. It was one of the most unsettling things I've ever seen in 33 years of life. Throw everything you thought you knew about drugs out the window, this stuff made an absolute lunatic out of a normal dude. I started my weekend thinking I was going to have to kill an old friend in self-defense in a walgreens parking lot at 6am in 10 degree weather. Okay. That is crazier. Side note: Bath salts were "a thing" when we were teens? I had no idea people snorted bath salts until that Florida incident a few years back. EDIT: Misread. Was this in your adulthood? Siren.Mosin said: » A guy I grew up with showed up at my house on bath salts on saturday morning at 4:15 AM. I would have called the cops and told them a stranger was beating my door down and they have until he breaks it down to get here before I handle it with a machete.... they got there really fast. Asura.Dameshi said: » I couldn't remember who did it, but I believe you are correct with Jim Gaffigan. Ji-Ji-Ji-Ji-Jimmy Ra-- wait wrong Jimmy. No crazy cousin deer hunting with us this year and I get one. >.>
Pretty sure he was scaring them away by talking in caps lock full time. Backstrap and breakfast sausage, please.

I don't deal in insanity much anymore, and never in literal insanity, before saturday. I thought he was a sober guy these days, sans alcohol. I had no need to think he was compromised until it was too late. needless to say, lesson learned. So freakin' tired right now. LOL! HOLY CRAP! How long has it been since you guys mingled? Everyone has that "*** up" of a friend but that takes the cake! Thank you UPS, for holding our OVERNIGHT document in your facility an extra day for absolutely NO REASON.
Thank you so very very much. Caitsith.Zahrah said: » HOLY CRAP! I guess I shouldn't make light of shot up windows, but yeah, ugh... the moon must have been attuned to the crazies friday night / saturday morn... Caitsith.Zahrah said: » How long has it been since you guys mingled? I've had maybe 3 drinks with him in a year, so I thought I had a basis for normalcy going on there, but wow. I was so wrong. It was like trying to communicate with a psycho from the nut ward in the movies... It got fairly unnerving when he would tense up to attack me. It's been many moons since I've been involved in any kind of combat, and I sure as hell wasn't prepped to face a guy that couldn't tell it was cold out in a flimsy hoodie in 10 degree weather. If anyone you know takes bath salts, intentionally or no, disown them post haste. maybe it's just me...and my paranoid psychosis..and all my friends are crazy ***...but I have never let any of my friends into my home ever. wife's friends. sure... but not my friends /shudder
*** that! I have seen first hand what those *** are capable of. *** friendship... you got a wife and children to protect for christsakes mosin... meet them at a bar or a restaurant. my house rule is nobody comes in or out of my house between midnight and eight am. even my sons. if they can't stumble home before midnight they can sleep in a *** ditch for all I care. Edit: anyone trying to enter my house during restricted hours is met with extreme naked screaming violence. Bath salts are *** insane.
Major, major problem in rural areas around here and into West Virginia.

If horoscopes were worth a damn: Sagittarius(eseses)/(i)(?) - Prepare yourselves for a weird and/or completely messed up weekend. I think I may have to institute that rule as well. between this & the fire extinguisher that I'm buying myself for christmas, I might owe you one, buddy. I should have known better, I blame the whiskey and the lack of sleep. Caitsith.Zahrah said: » Prepare yourselves for a weird and/or completely messed up weekend. Tamales and turkey for me :3! Siren.Mosin said: » I should have known better, I blame the whiskey and the lack of sleep. I lock the house down at midnight like it's fort freaking knox. THEN I sip the whiskey and fully relax.... You're young though, you probably haven't gotten a call from the cops that they caught your kid drinking in a park after hours. You need to stay on your toes when those little buggars start roaming around on their own. You never know when you might have to go pick them up at the police station.

We eat it on turkey day too! :/ I like mash potatoes and cornbread! :3
I've never heard of tamales for Thanksgiving, but I don't need an excuse to eat tamales and I'd certainly never turn them down. Green bean casserole gets old anyhow.
I've always eaten tamales for thanks giving/christmas/newyear :(
