What's really surprising is the direction that Words With Nerds took. If you can't have a dictionary out (unless you're checking the validity of a word) in Scrabble, you shouldn't get "hints" in bastardized Scrabble.

My wife is unquestionably smarter and better-spoken than I am, but I win the vast majority of the time with word games.
Probably because I was raised in a home where word games were played weekly and feelings and familial relationships were no bar to cutthroatedly ruining someone's amazing triple-word score plans with "qi."

Our family functions on either side always involve trivia, card or word games. Zie beau and I used to wreck shop when we paired off for Trivial Pursuit in college (we were just buddies back then, though). We still do game nights on some weekends and intend to carry that on with the kiddos.

Also, saw Spectre today. It wasn't... awful, per se, but it felt very un-Daniel Craig. Halfway through I was expecting him to pull off a mask and actually be Pierce Brosnan.
If you liked the older, sillier Bonds, then you'll probably like it (I do and more or less did), but it feels very out of place with Craig's Bond. It's enough of a disconnect that I couldn't really get past it. The script and dialogue themselves don't do anyone any favors either. Christoph Waltz is good, Craig seems bored the whole time, the supporting cast is basically fine. Just weird.
