After this pour, this nasty-*** job is over and we move on to a driveway. Can't wait.

I doubt he "hates" Americans. It is a culture shock for some, depending on where you move to in the US. My mom has a treasure trove of Idiot American anecdotes going back to her move state-side during the bicentennial year. Caitsith.Zahrah said: » My mom has a treasure trove of Idiot American anecdotes going back to her move state-side during the bicentennial year. I have a treasure trove of terribly racist things my grandma used to say when I was growing up without batting an eye. Not because she was maliciously racist, but because she grew up in the depression and that was just how you talked about "those colored folks." When I say "treasure trove," I actually mean "terrible things that come to mind when I don't want them to." Edit: She had little to say about immigrants, however, because like most of us posting here, her direct ancestors (and a few of her siblings) were immigrants. Funny how a few generations removes gives serious entitlement issues for people who like to *** about entitlements... Caitsith.Zahrah said: » P&R did not make for a good waiting room read. Glad Rooks laid out his internal quibble with P&R before another "OMG! Ni-spiracy!" moment. Thumbs up for the "Respect is earned," blurb, Mos. Slightly out of context.
I didn't mean to stomp everywhere in day-to-day life telling everyone to *** off. more so that you'll receive respect when you're deserving of it, not when you demand it. Thumbs up for the "Respect is earned," blurb, Mos. Same. Everyone starts out with a default mode with me, also, and it can only go up or down from then on. Admiration and adoration, being the pinnacle. I hold everyone I meet with a detached level of contempt veiled with polite good humor until I decide whether I can like them or not.
Which says more about me than them, really, but being a misanthrope isn't always glamorous. I am aware of how it was meant, it's just a minor problem of the the meaning of the word respect itself. It is today a positive labeled word in a time of humanism where it has actually become the neutral basis (respect life has become the norm). Since we cannot climax respect directly, only negate it, a discrepancy has been created which lead to both sayings being possible.
I did not negate the saying for you, just for me in my previous post. Just wanted to state and add my personal approach on the word. Eh, *** it. I'll leave my mom's first Idiot American story. Why the Hell not?
So, my mom was finally settled in The States with my dad, and was getting back into the swing of working and in the swing of working in the US. We all know young nurses get saddled with the most horrid shifts. One of the nights she was assigned to ER in the wee hours of the morning, a lady was admitted into the ER because she thought it would be an idea par excellance to masturbate using an improvised toy... Holy hell this thread is still going...
Good job all! what's been happening in excesspain world the last five years?
Uri and Dame still prowl 'round these parts too.
/tips hat Recently started up FFXIV and stumbled across this site again looking for something similar. Looked at one of my posts from the first page, I was shocked a linked thread went 6 years and here you guys go keeping this one up that long.
Let us know when you finish catching up on the 17,686 pages that went by while you were gone..... and if you have any questions, just ask PARKER.
