I usually like Musicals, they can't make much wrong when putting songs together from a dead musician one liked with a few narratives between or a known story spiced up with some songs.
Way better than a low budget theater where always has to be an old fat man with a white sweat shirt yelling stupid things.
References and kids usually don't work out, but don't worry you can keep those going. They'll return the favour with some hip youth-words you'll never understand.

'strange magic' I think 95% of it was rehashed pop songs. I can enjoy original content, even if it isn't exactly my cup of tea, but man, something about reusing other people's stuff just annoys me.

so, after the st break, I see one of the sales people shuffling around, trying to sort a job that was in production since April.
large part of it has left shop a long time ago...
about an hour later I see him asking about a set of plastic letters, unable to locate such set, and people pointing him in the wrong direction "check paining" "check staging or with the installers" "maybe they took them with the rest of the stuff to the job site"
I pay not much attention as I get my stuff done.
after lunch, talking to my boss, I see him again, checking boxes, under tables, unable to locate the set of letters.... I glance at his paperwork and recognize the project....
"hmm there was something Iffy about this job.. cant remember...."
looked up my file on the computer, and the missing set was not there... "o..k?"
I dig trough my old paperwork. Bam found it.
Job description, not there. shift trough the pages, no page comp, and can only be seen on the floor plan... scratched out with a note "not our scope of work"...
"so we didn't make this after all...." I tell my boss, we get a good laugh, and tells me o go tell the salesperson about this.
he sees it, he panics, goes in denial "I am pretty sure I saw the set somewhere and even discussed it with someone! how can i not be there? are you sure you didnt make them?"
"not under this job order, I have no trace of this"
production manager over-hears us and goes "if this uy says he doesn't know anything about these letters, i am pretty sure they did not make em"
more panic. yelling, almost whole main office in an uproar. look up job folder and stuff. not done.
"ok can you make these? we need to install Saturday" (my head goes lolololololol)
"ok fine ill see what I can do"
go back to my boss, tell him we "this and this happened so we need to make em"
"ok so how are mounting these?"
"idk.."
"go ask the salesperson"
so I go, he is on the phone, main boss lady walks by and asks me if we found the letters, tell her what happened.
she then starst chewing off the sales person as to why are we making stuff not in the job order, why was it scratched off, why where we worrking on a Revision 4 file, when the job waas on Revision 8... yaadda yadda yadda
more paperwork shuffling
so we get the ok from the main boss lady to do them.
so the whole hour i wasted in the office (total) I was just there with an awkward pokerface... lol

holy crap that sucked...my client played everyone's favorite game called "since nikolce is coming we should try as hard as we can to break the machine as much as possible"
on the plus side my invention worked and the evil machine is humming like a champ now...but damn.
look magster before you banish me to the land of work again let me point out it took me thirty six years to reach this enviable position of head jerk in charge of goofing off at Evil Enterprises Incorporated... a division of Haliburton..
