I had a manager years ago that had a serious fear of public speaking. During a training he would stand behind the podium stiff as a board and stare directly at his notes reading it like a script and would just sweat like crazy. I tried to help him prepare for new hire training and offered to just do it for him, but he insisted he needed to get over his fear. During a first-aid training he ended up passing out, falling backward, and gashing his head on the edge of a table. Needless to say, we got to test our first-aid and biohazard training right then and there.
