That's an interesting book! He loves books, with us or by himself, so that's definitely something to look at. Thanks!
He's a puzzler; his favorite toys are actually the various child safety devices strewn through the house, which he has defeated 90% of. The only one he hasn't yet, is one particular kind of cabinet lock, because his fingers just aren't physically strong enough. He gets the concept well enough.
Also, ALS? The only thing I know that as an acronym for, uh, I really hope he hasn't got.

Well, there's a roofing company local to me that's "Al's Roofing", except that his vans and trucks have a big logo that's all in caps and omits the apostrophe.
