Oh! It is beautiful! Hardwood paneling with matching shelving and velvet lined drawers that were inserted into the walls. It looked like a museum.

That has Nik written all over it.
The baltimore story reminds me of several things... like "The Hollywood Screen Test" which is when you are handcuffed in the back of the police car with no seat belt and they slam on the brakes hurling you into the metal divider screen in the police car.
and in the small town I grew up in, drunk and/or unruly people in police custody were having so much trouble "falling down the stairs"... the city installed an elevator at great expense.
wouldn't you know it though...the doors on the gosh darn elevator sometimes malfunction and repeatedly beat the hell out of people...
it's one of those unsolvable mysteries.....
