I had the most bizarre and vivid final fantasy dream last night. I could steal from other players and then cast gravity on them and run into my mog house... I woke up when I zoned.
Then I lied awake for a couple hours as a flood of ffxi memories dumped out of my memory banks.... holy crap... friends, enemies, ancient blood feuds between rival linkshells, and so much data. maps, shortcuts, old dynamis maps,
I lost a friend in this one shiva fight the third member of the party blew up at him for dying and he got pissed at me for not backing him up.... where are they all now?
So I finally decided to beat the memories back with beer...

I had four hours until I had to be up... that might be enough time to get drunk enough to sleep and then sober enough to go to work...

I'm not too interested in WoW for one reason or an other. I like the old iterations of SSB's, but 3 rl buddies and I all bought those stupid ps4's so trying to find something on that platform. LoL is fun, but in smaller doses, for me, anyway. so the search continues. on & on & on. I do appreciate suggestions though.

how I feel about FFXI
-the game is not the same as when you played
-you miss the old game
-rather than missing the game, you miss the community
-if the install slash update wont kill your nostalgia, idling in Jeuno looking at shouts will.
-moggle will still spin you, and you'll think "why am i paying for this?"
-you will try to do stuff, only to realize, you will fail, while that jerk with his 3+ account party is just waiting for you to wipe to steal claim your mob.
-you end up paying 3+ accounts to get ***done.
-try to do new content, and be told lolnope, no experience nor item drop, which drops from that same content, and came out the day before.

Um let's see. Oooh Civ 5 is always a good time sink. DayZ is FINALLY getting promising, but still has some issues. It is still in alpha too...

that game is right about what I'm looking for. I paid for the alpha, but my PC is just a little too old to play it without all kinds of lag in the perspective. sony is ripping them off & making a game called "H1z1" that looks pretty sweet. "the division" has some promise as well, but we'll see, I guess.
