Are you people manufactured in a factory or something? yeah-o buddy! Idk, I come from irish catholics, so naturally there's a ton of us. My one gay cousin looks nothing like me & hangs out in Minneapolis, so again, beats me. of the cousins that do look like me, they'd have to be super sneaky & mean to their girlfriends if they've dated you. thanks? /tiltshead Cerberus.Pleebo said: » CONFOUND IT /tosses chicken corsage into wastebin WHAT?!? Crap! Shiva.Onorgul said: » Wasn't really making a judgment call or anything, I just see a lot of your doppelgangers and have banged a few of 'em. nice! I'll take it as a compliment. If I ever go super crazy, I'll start hunting these *** down like jet li's 'the one' and gain all their power. *** ya. Your Archer icon makes a great deal of sense, though, having seen that.
I look nothing like my icon. I like it mostly for its source (and the hoodie, and that it's black-and-white). Carbuncle.Skulloneix

Don't look at me like that. That mashed potato glop, though... yeah, failure pile in a sadness bowl, right? Pretty sure that's how the marketing for it went once KFC heard Patton Oswalt's routine. Anyhow, more people need to hear this song, see this video, and love both. YouTube Video Placeholder (2:25) I really liked the style but her voice was kind of a turn-off.
please do post more music in here though, I don't hear a ton of new things anymore. Zero7 was good, and makes me feel old because I remember being high as *** and listening to them and Thievery Corporation in my early 20's.
Reminds me, here is a rare gem: YouTube Video Placeholder
You know what's even healthier than that? A nice fresh, green salad.
Also, I got this email from the principal of the school I interviewed with on Tuesday: "It was my pleasure to visit with you. Talk to you real soon buddy." Does that look like a good sign? Bismarck.Magnuss said: » Does that look like a good sign? if not for a job, at the least a hot date. he called you buddy, guy, so it sounds good.
just refrain from replying with "I'm not your buddy, guy". I'm not your guy, friend.
Lakshmi.Zerowone said: » he called you buddy, guy, so it sounds good. just refrain from replying with "I'm not your buddy, guy". idk, I'd hire him on the spot if I got that response, but it's definitely a gamble. Shiva.Onorgul said: » Double Down is healthy, damnit! Eh... not strictly, no. I find that people have no idea what the word "healthy" actually means. Even when talking to folks who know about things like macronutrients and the health benefits of fat tend to clam up when asked to explain what is "healthy." I'll admit, I sort of run into a similar problem, though more just because most foods are at least moderately healthy provided they are not composed entirely of sugar.
Either way, as someone who tries to keep his calories under control, carbohydrate (specifically breads) is the biggest problem. That bun on my hamburger adds a couple hundred calories and practically nothing else. Mashed potatoes are admittedly a better option, but you need a fair bit of them to make a bun out of (and I've done it! wouldn't recommend, though, too much hassle). So nutrition on a grilled Double Down is 480 calories, 220 of which come from 25g of fat, so it's a bit heavier on fat than I'd personally like. It shows, too: the sandwich is greasier than it needs to be, but a lot of that is the cheese and the sauce. It has 4 whole grams of carbohydrate, mostly the sauce again, and fully 60g of protein. Cholesterol is high but irrelevant as dietary cholesterol isn't meaningful and chicken is always high in it. The real problem is the sodium, which is absurdly high, but that's unfortunately just a fact of fast food. The fried version has about 60-80 calories more, which is consistent with the breading, and thereby a few more grams of carb. Compare that with most other fast food and it's honestly a good choice. A double from Wendy's, for instance, has over 300 more calories, twice as much fat, 10x the carbs (obviously: it has a bun), and 10 fewer grams of protein than a grilled Double Down. I'd advocate that people cook at home, obviously. A Double Down is cheaper and healthier when made in your own kitchen. But if you must eat fast food, you can do a lot, lot worse. |
