well you know...teenagers are bad news especially when you're in your late 20's and early 30's and beyond. Though 36 is a nice milestone, in a perverted sense, (just divide it by 2). Every now and then there is that one 16-17yr old girl that is physically developed beyond her age that makes you do a double or triple take, but jail bait is still jail bait. I'm sure grown women have the same experience as well.
Even when I was in my late 20's I couldn't stand talking to women in their early 20's since all they wanted to talk about was inane *** about themselves, especially their "timeline for life", or some show they were watching on MTV. Whereas I wanted to talk about some inane *** about a show I was watching that wasn't on MTV blah blah or quite simply didn't want to talk.
edit*: So I have no idea how someone my age can even engage a teenager in that type conversation without wanting to stab themselves in the eye.
That being said this is a video game forum where a bunch of the posters fawn over pubescent anime girls so I guess it was a given it was going to happen to him for criticizing one of the legion..

Having just turned 25 and going back into the dating pool I can't see me dating anyone below 20-21 at this point in a serious manner. Maybe to get laid or something but even that results in dealing with some potential for obsessive clinging that results in me being on the 10 o'clock news absent my reproductive organs.
Most 18-19 year olds are insufferable as I was at that age. Between the vacuous conversations about nothing, the high school mentality not completely dead and the foolish idea that you know something about the world it all just results in looking at someone unable to challenge me intellectually or emotionally.
Yet at the same time some older women (26+) are looking for 30+/40+ year olds. Getting turned down because I'm not old enough is some *** lol.

That's how I feel. What could you possibly have in common with someone outside of your age group. It seems like your common interests would be on the superficial level and collective experience would be zip. Then again, I've only dated guys who are a matter of months my senior to about three years my senior.
