Funny story. I watched a video on youtube about speed running it and sent it via email to the shellmates so that we could try it...
turns out we are a month late and they blocked the entrance with a giant force field wall... you have to kill a priest to get the door to open.
but it was funny when we all smashed into it and then got obliterated by the army of mobs that followed us there.
but that's been the story of my whole fff life. day late, dollar short, everyone already finished whatever you are working on so you have to do it yourself... by the way we removed all the shortcuts after everyone but you used them to get the armor they needed to progress in the story... sorry about your luck sucker, gimme another 15 dollars

Have you done any of the primal HM fights? The weapons that drop from those are nice if you can get em... duty finder is pretty decent for em nowadays too (well for Garuda and Ifrit)... helps raise dps...
yeah they did nerf that kind of ak run... they even put an extra hippo in there so you can't really avoid the two giants there... speed runs are usually done in WP these days but only by people with really good gear and I think it takes em like 8 mins or so to complete... My healer and I just run AK though and we've got it down to about 30-35 mins per run...
I'd say I'd help you but you won't come to my server!!! I wish you could team up with specific parties via duty finder on other servers not just randos from other servers...
Now that we have the titan fight down though we pushed a couple more people through and will continue to do so...

There are still ways you can speed run AK. You just need to learn the points to die as the tank and stand to avoid the aggro after the puller dies. Little more complicated than it used to be, but can be done. :/ In the end, I think it's better to just plow through it. Not sure what's giving you problems, but good ruck.

The Wall!!! The wall is giving me a problem because I am a noob bard wearing two tone tights. Here is a list of my crimes so far. Don't take a drink of anything you don't want spat on your computer screen...
1.) I thought attributes went across all jobs and since my str was low I sunk all 30 into str thinking to do them in order not realizing how important dex was for brds and you only ever get thirty to spend. *I fixed it with the attrib reset scroll from GC
2.) I don't like switching hotbars so I just got rid of some of the
older tp moves like straight shot and heavy shot and replaced them with poison and wind dots not realizing I was killing my dps
*I fixed it with a second hotbar set and am getting used to the new layout
3.) my gear sucks - it's a WIP I figured it out when we went two bards to WP and I got outdammaged like I was naked and the more experienced bard was like what is your dex at? I was all DEX? what is this dex you speak of? Some of that I have caught up on temporarily with HQ spinel accesories I am slowly grinding out WP for DL. I got waist and neck so far. It goes slow when you suck!!
4.) titan and garuda were a simple matter of learning the pattern but for the wall in AK you have to learn the pattern and kill it before you run out of floor... it's the second part we have the problem with and I am working on it.
5.) I have had to deal with the slow realization that I am the 500 lb albatross around everyone's neck slowing up the process. AK is the first real gear check in the game. and I am the weakest link! goodbye!
