I have probably told you before about bobanderic and how they raised petty theft to an art form, stealing people's clothes from houses their girlfriends were babysitting, which was fool proof until they got greedy and stole things the home owners missed. When the police questioned the babysitter they rolled over like lassie, sang like song birds, squealed like pigs, all this sort of thing and not long afterwards bobanderic were on the run... they ran in place for a while, like idiots, staying at our place and several other hangouts the police already knew about thanks to the babysitters. After several close calls they decided to steal a car and head south for the border. They somehow ended up in florida...

I credit them for going essentially in the right direction...little did they realize florida was a dead end and it was only a matter of time before the police caught up with them...

They left a trail of stupidity, petty crime and drug abuse in a fairly wide swath all the way down but in the end their inability to drive a car in a straight line was their undoing. A cop saw them swerving all over the road like kids that don't know how to drive and decided to have a chat with them.

So lights flashing behind them, bobanderic decide the best course of action was to just not pull over... they turned on the blinker and slowed below the speed limit, but just didn't pull over.

Unfamiliar with this technique the cop followed them for many many miles at low speed, eventually calling for back up... meanwhile bobanderic are throwing most of their illegal contraband out the windows of the car, as if it would somehow magically disappear once they did that. Certainly no one would be able to connect them to the gallon sized zip lock bag full of weed if they chucked it out the window in front of a cop in broad daylight with fresh finger/hand prints all over it...

Soon or later a police road block formed ahead of them so they decided to go off road into an alligator swamp. They were eventually captured and brought to justice after several more hours of tomfoolery trudging through the swamp with no idea how to get anywhere. They spent the night freezing in the swamp and then walked back to the road where the police were waiting...

I think bob copped to the most serious charges and got seven long. eric's parents hired a lawyer that blamed everything on bob and eric got off with almost no time at all...

I was pleasantly surprised to see them both on facebook recently, on the pages of their current significant others. It won't be long before they find each other on accident. And then it's on! Bobanderic 2, Escape from America.

I wish them well and hope one of them has become smart enough to read a map or drive a car before they take off again... for the border.

With a lot of luck this time it will be the border with mexico and not the atlantic ocean...
