that being said, I'm now an old fuddy-duddy & would have a hell of a time finding anything that they don't sell me at the blue lantern lounge & casino. i've never done peyote, but i have done dmt. there's not much i can say other than lskdghsldfghl. it really is an unfathomable experience. it's as far from tripping off mushrooms or acid as tripping either is to smoking a joint. i've drank dmt tea made from ayahuasca with syrian rue capsules as an moai a couple of times. i have an anthropologist friend who learned how to make it in brazil. he'll make a few batches during the year and we'll usually chill out around a fireplace or bonfire with a small group. we only have half the people tripping at any event that way everyone has a baby sitter. it's not something i'd suggest everyone do as it will make you purge (puke) and go a little crazy. the next 4-9 hours after that (depending on how long you go without puking) will be an extremely intense introspective journey. it makes you shed your ego and see your place in the universe. was wonderfully religious-esque for me. affirmed my faith in something greater than me, while granting me sight of some personal flaws i didn't see/didn't want to admit to. also, brock samson drank it on the venture brothers =D it's referred to by 'the death vine' in the show. it's weird it's called that cause it's not something that can kill you.
and for the record...
mdma isn't really a trip as much as being really excited about everything for a few hours and chewing ten packs of gum.
