But Vagrant story isn't really a spin off of Final Fantasy. I think Final Fantasy Tactics would better fit the criteria.

It's in Ivalice. Final Fantasy tactics is a Final Fantasy game. Vagrant story is a different game in the same universe.
Touche sir. I never played Vagrant story and I didn't care much for FFT. I also didn't enjoy FFXII. I never understood why everyone loved Ivalice so much.

You caught me! I'm getting all my info on wiki

I don't like Ivalice either, it's a pretty bland world... VS, FFT and XII were never that great for me.

Xenosaga I&II

that's on the DS now? D= how do they fit all those movies on the DS cartridge!

edit:
I have the demo of heroes of ruin. It's pretty fun just wasn't sure if there was any more of a character creation than the ***they gave in the demo.

Why do they keep making Final Fantasies? It's not really "Final" if they keep making more!
One of your dumbest questions yet Scuba Steve...

Hyper dimension neptunia is not an rpg... Also, it is a terrible game...

SMT has a few different series beyond Persona.. never personally got into persona but I did enjoy DDS...

I'm still surprised that SE makes games for the DS... Personally don't like handhelds all that much anymore...

I like Ivalice...

I hope Assassin's Creed 3 and Borderlands 2 can keep me busy until March. Probably not.

I want to wait for the PC version of AC3. I love ubisoft's games, but they piss me off as a company.

Looking forward to the new BL2 DLC's at least.

wait did you just say Hyperdimension Neptunia isn't an rpg?

You sure you're thinking about the right game?

Ok... I was thinking of the wrong game... still NIS usually makes such terrible games with a few exceptions... plus looking at that again now it looks pretty bad but everyone has their own preference... There's other thing I object to just by wathcing the official trailer lol...

If only I could take off work I could beat it in a week. I was kind of disappointed in the last BL2 DLC, only took me 2 days and an extra day to figure out how to kill master gee without freezing.

But I won't be here most of November and I'll be gone the end of December!
The AC series has gotten shorter and shorter with their story mode as more games have come out... probably a product of annual releases combined with a decent multiplayer system... There are some challenges to get down but yeah... I'm not sure when the new BL DLC is scheduled though...

lol flav. It's a comedy rpg. They rip on every game and console (and the game industry) constantly.

And don't you mess with Compa!

No joke, if you get the DLC costumes for Compa she can tear up more of the game by herself. She is my strongest character by far.

Most of NIS's stuff is like that... Like I said... it's a preference thing and I don't prefer their games... I've tried to play a few and most of them are just terrible...

DLC annoys me. It gives game companies a reason to push out a half-assed product. "Oh, don't worry about how short it is. In a few months we'll shove another couple missions up your ***. All you need to do is spend an extra 20 bucks." I miss the days when you paid for a game, and you got it in its entirety.

I like actual DLC... where you actually get more gameplay... I'm not a big fan of the ones where you buy a weapon or a costume for 10 bucks lol... Free game! unless you want to play as this guy with this skin this week...

Honestly though, you do get a complete game... DLC is not only optional but probably wouldn't ever be included in the game if not for this method of distribution... also gives me a reason to go back to some of my favorite games... others I just ignore lol...

I'm actually doing a presentation in class this week about DLC and a 12 page term paper on it for another class. My team mates all are in favor of DLC but I take the other side of it and basically *** *** *** during the presentation.

What you mention is one of the points I try to make, but even worse is when the game is actually all on the disc, and you have to buy DLC to unlock content that is ALREADY ON THE DISC YOU PAID FOR. I find that and first-day DLC to be the biggest crimes of the gaming industry these days.

I noticed that too. Revelations was by far the shortest, even with the DLC didn't do much for it. I doubt I'm going to get the Season Pass for AC3, I didn't like multiplayer THAT much. Hopefully I can get all the achievements but it's not a priority. I think the BL2 DLC is supposed to come out sometime in December. They might wait until Jan/Feb though. They are supposed to have 4 DLCs until June 2013, and they already put the first one out. I'd assume it's spread evenly. Oct - Jan - Apr - June makes the most sense. They've been talking of making another character too so they might be worked on too. Edit: I've been trying to find a couple cheap copies of BL1 game of the year edition so I can play through the DLCs of the first game.
You probably won't find it for less than $20...

NIS is still around. I looked at their site yesterday. They have a few games I'm interested in for PS3 but aren't out yet.
