With a new baby on the way, where is the capital for your business coming? What exactly is your business model? How will you present it for a loan? I mean, you will have to interact with loan officers. Will you give them the, "*** you! I do what I want!" attitude too? I doubt it if you want that start-up money.

OKay so my parents pool is supposed to be done in like 3 weeks...yeah I know they just started it 2 weeks ago and it's shwankyyyyyyyyyy.

It's apparent that nobody here is even trying to understand what I was getting at and want to continue on their conceived notions of what I was trying to say however.
We are trying to understand what you are getting at and we are not getting it, hence the reasons we keep asking more questions. Each of us works in the business world and I personally do not cave on my principles to get my job done. That is why I am trying to figure out exactly what your principles are. The only thing I have gotten out of you is that you don't think you should have to be courteous of others. To me that is not principle related at all.
Someday you plan to own your own business designing electronics. Who do you plan to sell these designs/products to? Are you going to sell them yourself or have a sales team? I'm going to guess you would go the sales team route, because you HAVE to kiss *** to sell things. That is the cold, hard truth. Sales people have to make the customer want their product and if you talk at people instead of with them, they will not want to do business with you.

The principle of thinking competency is less important than a fake smile, which everyone took to extremes, instead of taking it for the practical statement it was.
I was debating on exactly how to accomplish the latter still, however I have more time to work on it. I will probably ask my prof. how he does it.

I'm making a lot of assumptions here but if he's going to be "designing electronics" and he would be his only employee... that would most likely mean that he would be selling the design to some corporation... He wouldn't have a huge market there... Either way his work would be for naught because he believes in the freedom of information so they would just obtain his designs online and use them to make a different version that they could design/market/distrubute themselves and just cut him out...

that was an idea, and there's a difference between freedom of information for the end user and for profit, as long as somebody isn't profiting from my designs (which would have to be released somehow anyway, aka sold) so no, although they probably would try, and then they'll be sued like every other corporation is.
Now if somebody were to find a way to use my devices for other purposes, and released the information to the public domain, as long as they weren't profiting idc.
I do hope you see the difference.

It's great! My parents have one. The salt water keeps the water nice and clear without chemicals. It doesn't make you feel gritty when you get out either.

It's really a matter of finding the time between work+school+life to do it, as unfortunately I don't want to take out the student loans to cover education without having to work too, although it may not be such a bad idea.
