Had an excellent weekend. Friday night the old man and I had a date night (it has been a while) starting with Outback Steakhouse and then a movie. Saturday we took the little man shopping for his baseball gear and then Sunday we went to the park that has a bunch of baseball fields and started practicing!

Speaking of FF games, I finally finished FF2 over the weekend.
Most anti-climatic ending EVER.
Also the Emperor was kinda a joke, other than his attacks for 2500 that also healed him for like 70% of the damage done...
Fortunately he'd usually cast spells instead of doing that lol. Starfall 10 did like 200-300 damage to everyone. What a joke!
I'm a bit confused as to why they make a big deal about getting Ultima though. Holy did almost double the damage, and Flare did about the same as Ultima. Also leveling magic is useless in that game until the very end, which is irritating. Fortunately I actually did grind up the important spells enough that it wasn't a big deal, but just kinda annoying how I could attack normal enemies for like 2500+ damage, but bosses it would do like 200 if I crit. All in all it was a fun game, but glad I can move onto other FFs having finally finished it and 5 :P

Does it do a lot of damage to him or something? I did use it a little bit in Pandaemonium but it didn't heal enough/didn't do enough damage to keep using it the whole time. Sun Blade / Cat Claws on Firion, Holy Lance / Aegis on Maria (or the best bow), Rune Axe x 2 Gus, Rune Axe / Venom Axe on lolLeon.
Is it only on Emperor? Because it was totally lackluster for everything prior to that.
Wow... I should boot it up and try that later lol.
Though I prefer a semi-epic battle :P
That reminds me of when I fought Chaos for the first time in FF1. My Knight did about 1500 damage each attack round. I think his HP is 5k.

So Mag, your weekend was good eh? How heavily did you slather on the old Magnuss charm? Gotta be careful with it, it's considered a WMD by some standards. Too much can be catastrophic.

My weekend was very awesome. All I had to do was play gangster's paradise on my guitar, and I was in like flint. Honestly though, I think I'm addicted to this girl. So... looks like I'm heading back down there next weekend. I love how close I am to her. Yes, the gas was kinda crappy ($160!!!) but it's a price I'm willing to dish out. Thanks for all the well-wishing, though. I strode in there with all the swagger of Dr. Frankenstein, and I came home limping like Igor... >.>
