I shouldn't have mentioned the ad thing. In the past he has openly argued for everyone to block our ads because everything on the internet should be free and/or stolen, and it's a sore spot at the moment while I try and get our sponsorships back so we can still run a site at all. But it's not a big deal.

I banned him because he's been outright asking for it for awhile now, has been warned multiple times, gone through his temp bans, continued to be the #1 most frequently reported user, has done very little but pick fights for weeks, and for some reason decided now would be a really appropriate time to push all our buttons.

I was fed up.

Yep, usually when you get put in time out and sent to the kiddie table, you're supposed to lay low til you are in good graces again.
Some just wanna contend I guess. After all, that's what happened with KFH.

Anyways, I actually am still wondering why I still don't see any ads here even though I whitelisted FFXIAH.com
Are they still there but not visible or did I goof on my ABP settings?

On a side note, you should totally post in my Scary Gaming Moments thread Jae~

Well, i'll notice empty white boxes next to my text box where I make posts. And empty white banners on the sides as well. Hopefully I am still supporting the site by at least having them come through, but for whatever reason they are pretty much invisible to me.

Did you actually click the boxes to put a check in them in your exceptions list? <.>

I basically whitelisted Google Ad services on NoScript, and I clicked that disable on ffxiah.com tab on the ABP setting thingy.
Areas where ads should be are still blank >.>

There's other services you need in order to get the ads. You can try turning on the different locations, and reloading the page. If ads pop up you know you need that service. If they don't, disable it and try something else.

Figured it out.
There were a good handful of domains lurking within each other on the NoScript. Had to start with that whole doubleclick.net thing, then the fastclick and a bunch of other syndicates to enable ads.

Though I must admit, I dread having these things running past no script now.

If you can remember to shut them off when you navigate away, you can "allow scripts globally" while browsing ffxiah, then shut that off when you navigate away.

Sucks that you can't create special rules for just one domain.

Yeah would be nice.
Like "enable only for specified site/domain".
I think I'll let it go global when I'm posting and turn it off when I'm lurking and just need quick info.

This is rather annoying, but what is a good old school way to farm?
I know gil is so easily accessable with NPCing curor obtained armor and whatnot, but I haven't touched abyssea and have no intention of doing so anytime soon. So until then, what's a good option?
So far I got tiger fangs, quadav helms, mauls, lightning clusters and magic pot shards ._.

Don't have the patience or skill :/
Much rather kill many things and get myself a few stacks of something worth selling or at least good NPCables. Wash rinse repeat.

Beastmen Blood is still a worthy stack seller.
Tree cuttings not as much since HQ staves have lost their dominance thanks to magians. However, Invisible is going for like 50k because of all the abyssea leech and grinders. Could get lucky while I already get worthwhile gil from Mauls and Helms out in Beadeaux.

wisteria lumber is a lot easier than it used to be if you're willing to take a job past 75

Ah yes, the Elder Goobbues.
Those lumbers are roughly 7k a pop huh?
They don't stack but they have a good drop ratio if I recall correctly.
Sadly all I got is a mediocre geared 75 THF to do my bidding for the time being.
