speaking of MACs, the guy who had a *** MAC brought back our printer cz it wasnt compatible. I already told him its his MAC, NOT our machine thats the problem, but no one listens.

Another friend's MAC died two days ago, and I drank her sweet tears.
A MAC user not listening to you about a compatibility issue? Maybe next time you should say "This printer ain't good enough for your MAC. Let's go listen to some Tom Waits."

MAC user tears are the sweetest treat on earth.
Psh, Macs can at least bypass all router set up options for PC based routers.....don't ask how I figured some of this stuff out
Remember that networking miracle I pulled off last week? lol
32 bit xp 64 bit win 7 parallel...wat
Win 7 HOME too. That's the key to it all.

listen, if you want Windows 7, then get an HP. Dont get a MAC and install Windows 7 on there you half-a-hippy. That's like buying a Segway and putting a tank of NoS on it to go faster.

I would normally agree but I do have a special instance.

A couple of my friends want to design an app for the iphone. They can only be tested and such on a MAC, so they both bought a macbook pro and dual-boot Win 7 and MAC OS.

So who knows why my date field is the only field not copying over to the other document library? The columns are identical on both.

I have my initial document library. When the file is put in with all the correct meta data, a workflow moves it. The destination is a different document library. The file moves fine, BUT the date field ends up blank. I've confirmed that the workflow doesn't wipe the date prior to move, and it is lost in transit.

Hmm. It's not a user created date is it? It's like the date it was last changed right?

The date can either be manually input, or the workflow sets it for you. This is working correctly, and I can see the date as it should be prior to the move.

Ah I just thought maybe if the date were put in manually it could be due to an incorrect format, but if it's there on the first library that kinda eliminates that.

Unless for some reason the destination library has a different format required for dates? Other than that, I don't know.
