here's one site that says cartridge = new way for PSP2 games
I saw another website that questions "will it now be cartridge?"
and the one i posted a few posts ago mentions that games will be played off of HDD as well as memory cards (whether or not that means saved to memory card + play or buy the game + play, who knows)

IDK bout you but I prefer a hard copy of the game (Cartridge/UMD/CD/DVD/Blu-Ray). Why?

(Edit: Also, you want to play a game and Used - $20 where-as New - $40. Wouldn't you want the cheaper one?)
whereas digital downloads... if you hate the game then well, you just wasted 60 bucks and didn't get ***back.
Edit: Forgot my point --- Look at all the Cartridge consoles, What do you think those Cartridges are?
They're Flash Carts (like your SD card) that's set to ROM with some Re-writing --for save files -- You do know this right?

You do realize why packaged games are so expensive right?
There's a key word in there.
PACKAGING.
No matter what people say that ***costs money to, so you have to factor in the cost of packaging + manuals + printing + anything else I forgot.
Whereas digital download is just supplying the digitized copy of the game to the store for it to be put out.
Most digital copies of games that I own have come faaaaaaaaaaaaar cheaper then if I were to buy them retail (most of them being like 70-80% cheaper)

I don't hate cartridges - and I love my DS. But saying that cartridges are exactly the same as flash memory is a very loose and inaccurate statement.
In otherwords, can you explain why 3DS doesn't start out with 8GB carts for example? We have had SD cards of much higher capacity for years now, and according to you they are the same thing.
Ps. I love hard copies too! I love reading through the instruction booklet :)

You still pay the same price. And like I said, if you don't like the game you bought for 60 bucks, digially you're screwed but hard copy you can at least get like 10 or 15 bucks back or even sell it on ebay =P
