That's the game I wanna get the most.
My only issue so far is the new control scheme. So far motion sensor onry is easy as pie, but combining that with button pushing and the two handed correlation of wii-mote and nunchuck = fuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
Anyways, is LOZ:TP a story that stands on its own or is it connected to previous stories?

True. Guess it depends on how much you dilute it with milk/cream.
But some baked goods + irish cream on the rocks sounds pretty awesome right now.

As all Zeldas iirc (outside of Windwaker with the DS ones), it stands on its own. I had Twilight Princess for Gamecube so I don't know how interactive it is, but I know it's not 100% like Skyward Sword. You still press a button to use a bow rather than shooting it yourself and stuff.

Well, for starters, any Zelda game.
Sonic Adventure 2: Battle if you're into Sonic.
Kirby Air Ride was fun. I sold it but I played the mess out of it when I first got it. Got repetitive once you unlocked everything since I had no friends to play with.
Mario Kart: Double Dash. Still the best Mario Kart imo.
That's about it from me. I played Smash Bros. Melee most of the time so I was all over that rather than getting a bunch of Gamecube games. Now that Brawl is out, no point in Melee unless you're a hardcore tourney-*** who hates change.

I noticed a good chunk of Gamecube's stronghold lineup of games were essentially remade bigger and better specifically for the Wii. So I can't really think of a reason to dig for GC games unless there's some sort of majorly awesome indie game that somehow wound up being exclusively licensed for Nintendo but fell off the map when Wii got released.
I can tell you that the ones I listed outside of Twilight Princess are Gamecube onry.
