Anyone know that Japanese music video that's all just black and white vectors that change shape/perspective into each other? All human figures. I remember one of the first vectors is a witch and another is someone with an umbrella.

I think half the reason I haven't logged in to play FFXI lately is because I absolutely dread the need to make my Spellcast XMLs since gear swaps are becoming more and more necessary.
Frankly I just don't wanna screw around with all the rules, conditions, variables, etc. etc. Perhaps I can get away with just extended windower macros for now...

or ya know....REGULAR macros and god forbid, SOME manual gear swapping lol... CTRL-E to quickly get to the menu is a wonderful thing
edit, sorry that did sound a bit ***-ish but really? you're not logging in because you can't be bothered to set a script to make the game easy? lulz

FTFY. If I have the capacity to use something that goes above and beyond SE's handout, I intend to use it. Albeit a pain in the *** for now. And yea, that was pretty ***-ish of you.

XML is anything but simple sadly, combined with countless variables rules and given conditions. But really, I'd love to play, but getting to the nitty gritty tends to shy me away.

Yeah, I thought about using a template XML from someone else that took the time and patience (that I clearly don't have) to make a fancy script. Just need to cross-examine it to assure it doesn't do what I don't need it to do and vice versa. But thanks for the idea.

Also, that's what pretty much everyone did. Aikar (The creator of Windower and Spellcast) made his own BLM template and people just adapted that, using the instructions on the spellcast page.
I usually just make new ones usually my blm one as a template actually sorta lol. It's rather nice and compact for the most part. Takes alot of scripting out to do the same thing that alot of others do making it alot easier to understand and mess with
I guess I fancied the idea of making my own from scratch but never got around to having the necessary mindset to putting it into fruition.
