The VIP account is pretty nice.
The VIP account automatically earns 500 points a month for the in game store. I had 4k points saved up. f2p accounts can buy stuff like item bags (they only start with 2-3 of the 5 max that we're used to), quest access (zones at a time, i.e Lone Lands), and whatnot.
Oh, and there's now a shared storage you can buy at the store (fairly cheap). It gives you 20 inv spaces to share amongst your characters (can buy more spaces, but I'm not going to bother). It's pretty nice. You can also buy stat boosts (10 points at a time). Apprently there's a 650 skill cap. I broke 400 agility on my hunter yesterday.
I bought more storage space on my second account since I'll probably never actually do anything besides craft on it. Though I'm debating getting rid of it since you can have 7 chars on one VIP account now. That gives me the extra slots to have a char for each craft on one account. Dunno yet.
Edit: Oh, and for reference the point deal they had on Veteran's Day was 1,111 points for 11.11. I didn't look to see how much they normally cost since I don't plan on wasting the money.

Canada was talking about taking up the story since 14 sucks so hard.(He's beaten the storyline before on a diff server.)

I downloaded and started the WoW trial. It just made me want to go back to LOTRO. The action bar for LOTRO > WoW. The games are similar in a lot of ways, I just like LOTRO's interfaces better.
BTW, is there an auto-loot option that you can enable to not have to loot each item individually? (click on the corpse and you auto-loot whatever is on it)

Or you just hold in shift when you click the corpse and it auto-loots. But there is an option somewhere that makes shift not auto-loot, and normal clicking auto-loot.
