For people who got stuck at the first fight with BLMs...yeah. That fight was why I quit the PS1 version. But I promise you, that is the hardest fight until Ramza's solo fights later in the game...and even THOSE are only if you're not prepared right. Also one fight in the librarium that's bleh...but otherwise it's a pretty smooth ride.
Otherwise I would say 8. Lurve Triple Triad, the junction system that everyone hates because they didn't understand and how that convert cards ability was gamebreakingly effective. xD Also, Pupu is the best game character evar.

FF8's system really was great and /pretty *** hax/ when you started converting cards and synthing items to get capped comet and haste spells. lol No one's *** with Squall when his swordygun is glowing and he's chaining aura spells over and over. <3

Wow Ose brings back memories. I wanted AJ just to mess around with so I decided to camp Ose. Took me a nice long weekend, five Ose kills for AJ to drop.
When I first started, I thought something was wrong too, camped for 18hrs with no pop. Turns out the PH isn't exact for Ose. It's usually the one of the two that pop around the bones, but sometimes the PH pops further down the room.
After the initial 18hrs of nothing, I decided to just keep killing all Toramas in the room. Then Ose finally started popping more frequently.
Funniest part was when it finally dropped, I didn't have a thf helping me at the time. The thf left after the 4th kill. When AJ dropped it was just me (pld) a whm and a blm.

I sat there for 3 days without almost any competition. Generally Ose spawned 2 1/2 hours in, but I think one or two took 5 hours...
One of those times we were leaving Torama up in the far corner where it's not supposed to spawn, finally decided to kill them and it popped 15 min later, so I just had to ask.
Yeah I'm 99.9% sure I've been killing all the ones, esp in the corner and looking for the PH.
Well fine then, ET, that's just fiiiiine. He headbutted her when they were crawling out into a dark tunnel to get somewhere at least, no? lol IT'S BEEN AWHILE.

I'm alot? Oh and I used to do nyzle all the time. We had a semit static so that made getting some peices easier. The guy upping generally was 1/2 or 1/1
