K Macgyver time.

I have a pair of:

(Sony MDR-V150)
and one of the earpieces broke off of it. Between the little plastic hinge piece where the headphones actually connect from headset to ear piece. I need help reattaching it.

I currently have 3 rubberbands, a few zipties, and like 2 strips of scotch tape.

Suggestions for most stable reattachment involving these things will earn you my gratitude and possibly some cookies you'll never recieve in the mail.

Afterthought:

Stepping on your headphones once is ok, twice seems to be not so good.

Additionally, leaving things on the floor for "organization" may not work out so well.
Assuming im reading this right and understanding it well/looking picture properly, best I can think of is if the little T shaped bit I see is hollow, why not slide thru it like maybe old cord you dont use. Then attach washers or what have you at the end of each so its tight and still bends. Its 2 AM so im not sure if this makes any sense...

OR just use a bunch of twist ties wrapped around that little bendy T section to stablize it, followed by some hot glue gun action.

Or you can go for the redneck method of fixing things. Duct tape.

And now I want one of Kai's sammiches ._. it sounds so good.

Haha Nindo, totally thought about that. It may come to doing that if this tape+rubberband method I just used doesn't hold up.

And ranch is delicious. And ranch works on everything.

Ranch + a few drops of habanero hotsauce = perfect dip for fries, pizza, burgers, chicken nuggets, tater tots. Etc.
I was thinking tape across like an X over that one bit, but then you'd lose the bendy action im assuming xD. I poked a friend and asked him what he thought and he said this:
use a iron nail and a candle lighter, heat it up, and poke some shallow holes just through the plastic, careful to completely penetrate the plastic without hitting wires, use the zip ties through the holes to tie the broken piece together

<-- Queen of Dipping Sauces. I refuse to eat chicken nuggets or anything that requires dipping sauce unless im provide with a nice selection. So thats ketchup, bbq, honey mustard, ranch, and whatever else I find in the fridge all in little cups.

I want to find or make a dip or sandwich spread that utilizes the wonderful tsste of jalapeno, without putting too much kick/reduced spice. I like spice, but some people can't do hot food, and I could do so much with jalapeno flavor. :(

I'm totally trying that nail method next time just to see if it works. I totally geek out about this kind of stuff xD

<3 dipping sauces

The two most random conversations going on at once.
It does actually I use to be a bit of a fire fanatic when I was younger >_>;. And I'd get bored and randomly use lighters/candle lighters to burn or heat things up and see what it'd do. You just have careful how hot you get the nail, so that you don't melt the plastic or burn the wires.

Dipping sauces are amazing. I think most restaurants hate me because I want like 3-4 diff. sauces xD.

Why? My Aunt and my mother, are going to cause issues about the poor handling of my late grandfather. He died of Alzheimers, and stomach ulcers. I predict nothing but problems. And back here in WA? More problems from my father, mother, his g/f, and my brother an' his fiancee. What is there to be thankful of?

I don't really see anything.

oh oh..on a cooking side story.... i got the BEST COMPLIMENT today at work ^^... it was really late in the shift, and i went out to the bar to get myself some Dr. Pepper..and a woman in glasses at the bar asks me "excuse me...are you the cook on shift tonight?" I said "why yes ma'am ^^" and flashed her a smile and she said, "Those boneless wings you made me tonight...omg so special, and so great..they were fantastic. I'm definitely coming back next week to enjoy those wings" ^^

We have 20 cent wings for Monday Night Football games and I'm the main cook on Mondays. I was so damn happy that I gave her and her friend a food high ^^. They both thanked me cuz he also loved his bone-in hot wings. And I told them that that is exactly why I do what I do. To give others that great feeling.

We'd all be so well fed. xD
We'd all be fluffy and happy xD. Which sounds perfect to me!

And maybe try a Jalapeno sauce mixed with Worcestershire or something? That way its nice mixture and its not too spicy. Or maybe mayo with some powder like what he showed above.

I made epic sammich other day was London Broil that I lightly fried, with onions and chopped peppers, then melted cheese in between the onions and the meat (makes it sooooo good!). Add a little Mayo and some honey mustard. Delicious :3.

And now im starving...

Oh and Bart, friend says use Rubber cement on top of the twist tie after you get it thru. That you could probably melt it, but it'd compromise the plastic and make it brittle and possibly break.

I hadn't either until I had a roommate who used it on everything. Our grocer has to order it in specially (one similar to a cost-co), but assuming you live way up where you do (I think) may not be available :/
