Sorry to say though, I doubt anything will kill WoW outright, however, I believe anything with Star Wars in the name has at least a small chance.
Even if I am more of a Star Trek fan.

WoW is a slippery beast. They actually listen to the player base and make changes accordingly in a rather efficient amount of time. With this next expansion, they're redoing the 'old world' and changing the entire talent point system. I think the fact they listen to their community, rather well actually, is what's going to make them hard to topple.

I'm very glad to hear that they are showing no restraint in making this game as good as it can be, they are not being pressurised into early release dates coughSEcough, they appear to have no set budget restricting development by what you just said, and if any of Biowares previous games are anything to go by we are in for a treat.
I have very high hopes for this MMO and I am genuinely eager for the day it goes live, there are not many games that fill me with anticipation, the last to do so was Bioshock 2 funnily enough.
