Is it for a school outside of the US? I know last time I checked i just googled "name of the college" accreditation and it took me to the us departement of education site that shows all the info on the school. I immagine you can just type in the same for your school and it should pull up whatever the site is for that country its in.

I dont know really, with how competetive the market is now for graduates, I'd say having a degree from a reputable school is still a good thing. I think it really just comes down the the employer, could be bad if you're going against someone with a degree from a well known school, if yours is better and the employer doesnt know anything about it, they may not waist their time doing any research.

I know you are, but I wouldnt completely discredit someone who has a degree from a really well known school.
