Well, time to 75 Eft and Raptor to see if Sibilus appears. If it doesn't, I'll go back on Peiste and 99 it and see what happens, if anything.

Don't you get Aqua Fortis and wouldn't that be better to use than Calycifying Mist since its Damage/Poison and doesn't petrify them? Even if the Damage is weaker.

Or do you not get Aqua Fortis?

Edit: You do, and its only 130 TP. I'd use that, Despite it doing less overall immediate damage.

The damage is horrendous, talking under 100 dmg at 75, and the DoT doesn't scale.

That bad? That's quite unfortunate. Perhaps you just continue drudging along 1 by 1 then :o

Edit: What about Regurg?

So... what exactly does Inability to recover from KO mean for Whirling Inferno? Cuz... that sounds like it could be incredibly cheap in player vs Mob combat, lol.

It's just as bad as Aqua Fortis. Dmg on both is really bad, lol. Less than 200 for both.

Yeah pretty much terribad. The poison does 150 dmg by the time it wears, at best, and it costs 130TP to do it. Was really hoping Sibilus was unlocked at 60/60/60 or 75 peiste at least and that it got BLM or something as a second job, because peiste is easily one of the absolute worst things to grind up to 99, being beaten only maybe by pre-50 beetle for me so far.

Regurgitation isn't any better, under 130 dmg at 75 and costs 130TP. overall peiste has terrible TP moves for damage, they're only good for defensive purposes.

Probably just means it locks the target's ability to heal HP with cure and whatnot like the monster version does.

Could be useful then still, lol.

Edit: Also, so it's basically Zombie. Very nice, can't complain. :)

Well, could always play Flytrap, you'll immediately condemn it as the worst mob specie added this update lol. (And not a single person would be surprised).

it probably has a much faster attack speed and evasion compared to other monsters and the upgraded version will probably get magic.

Well they do attack really fast. So your best bet would be to stack loads of attack I guess.

I've yet to die outside of really stupid massive VT~IT links, (and then only if theres like 4-5 of them >.<) Monsters are very sturdy later on.

I love RDM mobs the best :|, Also when chigoe gets higher level, With Acc/Atk/Haste Instincts its a force to be reckoned with with its quick attack speed.

BG says "Not sure if it's been mentioned, but Adamantoise is apparently some combination of 60 Lizard, 60 Raptor, 60 Bugard, and 60 Wivre. There's an Adamantoise running around on Lakshmi and he claims those 4 are required. Happy hunting!"

Got to love Granite Skin. Some mobs are overpowered.
