Re:trusting doctors
Surely if it's something big I would search for a second opinion of a different doctor, just to be sure. But still if 2 doctors not in the same room agree I am going to trust they're onto something. I understand I won't be free of mistakes that way, but still I am dealing with a field where I am not competent enough to know that and have to trust what they're doing.
I'm very scared of hospitals anyway and rarely talk to doctors(my grandma would always complain at me for not seeking doctor's advice when feeling sick).

It's there and like you all have said, unavoidable.
Random thing along this topic and the parenting topic, my nephew goes to a school counselor due to family issues and the counselor had asked if he had access to the Internet... Says no. Well, he counselor says that he's had cases of children all the way to age 6 already using it and addicted to porn.
Kinda goes along with the whim decisions and poor parenting.

there is a shitload of incompetance at every level, the medical profession is no different, you absolutely should not trust a doctor impeccably.
*Nods* Always. I do agree. But if you ever doubt something, even medically, it is in your right to seek affirmation or not elsewhere. A consensus opinion can be a valuable one at times.
Like I said previously, the PAs staffed in my university clinic do not know their head to their *** and diagnose everything as colds... When it's something very more severe that another doctor or PA easily diagnosed.
Never absolute faith! Always question and rationalize. Lol........

I agree, but let's face facts. gym class, football practice, and the beginings of exploring sexuality on young silly minds.... kids will talk, let's be realistic, not idealistic. I didn't mean anything negative by it, everyone's different. There are obvious upsides to circumcision(whole head receiving contact consistantly during sex, for one). Nothing in the school system I was in resulted in my penis being visible to others until I started exploring my sexuality in high school.
I suppose changing rooms in middle school aren't that uncommon, mine just recommended we wear suitable clothes all day and had people who needed to change use a bathroom to do so.

Being realistic, having a cut penis isn't going to cut down your chances of being mocked in middle/high school as kids will just find something else to pick at you about.
We had a girl in HS who got picked on for having too large breasts, a guy that got picked on for being too fit and then the usual freakshows like too skinny, too fat, too old looking, too young looking, too tall, too short, too foreign, too American etc etc.
It's a no win scenario. At that age, guys are still trying to figure out their own sexuality and that usually involves alot of homoerotic behavior like checking out Sammy's wiener for comparison.

If one is against, and one is for, I feel the child should be born, and given to the parent that wants the child Sorry if I pick this out of context. But I'll never agree that the hypothetically pregnant me should be forced to give birth if I don't want to. If the man wants a baby he can have it with another woman, birth is way too traumatic to be forced upon someone.
Of course if the man doesn't want it I believe support shouldn't be forced on him either(not sure if this exists already, I'm way out of touch with law) - though he can't change his mind later if he doesn't like his wife anymore. I suppose it should be decided at the point of no return, before abhort becomes not possible anymore. Don't be sorry, I don't really feel you took it out of context.
I generalized my statement. I don't wish for anything to be forced onto anyone. I've never given birth so what I "think should be okay" compared to "reality" is a bit skewed. I will admit that. I guess I was typing for a more "idealistic" standpoint.

Haha, do boys really compare their pokies at school?
edit: actually I remember in middle school guys stealing another girl's ruler and run off to the bathroom to measure them. (she threw it away afterwards btw)

you are right, as usual.
I guess my point is you may as well not give them any more ammo.

not really. in my experiance it was more of snickering between buddies
IE:
guy a: "hahhahahaah look how hairy Joe's *** is!!!!"
guy b: "omg. that's hilarious"
guy a: "let's start calling him fro-butt joe!"
guy b: "hahahahhaah ya."

I see what Seha and you are both saying. I think really it's an unequal give and take situation here. Maybe if men could give birth and go trough the 9 months as well as bodily changes (and often permanent damages) then we would be able to have this idealistic setup. I don't think with the way it is, I could lawfully tell a woman she has to go trough that and put her body through because the father wants it >< she only has one body. He has plentiful spermies to use!

Here's a story I want to share about me being naive and stupid:
Quite a few years ago I got a bee sting on my stomach. Within 2 days it was swelled up and red. Very infected.
Went to the emergency room and the doctor there took a look at it. I'm deathly allergic to penicillin as well, I expected something like amoxicillin (I think that's the name? The one that's common place for people who are allergic ><). Anyways, bad remembering aside, he prescribed me something that I never heard of.. no one else either. So I took it anyways.
Then at work I had one of the worse breakdowns/panic attacks I've ever had. I had to get sent home early that day.
So I did research after. Come to find out, the pills that I was given have a strong possibility to induce panic attacks and if you are already prone to them they can amplify them a LOT worse.
So, I learned. I ask questions now and I make sure that what I'm given won't *** me up like that again.
Also, ER Doctors don't know YOU personally, so it's harder for them to find out what you can and can't take like if you were going to another doctor regularly.
I learned the hard way, sometimes that's all it takes. Bad experiences will make you learn eventually.

We used to have a kid in HS who'd walk around the locker rooms naked gauging the reactions of his peers to his penis. Sometimes when he got real silly he'd try to come up behind you and put his penis on your head or neck. lol
Then sometimes you'd have the guy with the micropenis who didn't really know until people started bursting out laughing and then you'd have the reverse scenario where guys would be strolling around rock hard after gyrm. Ok.... lol.
In retrospect alot of middle and HS were guys saying "I'm not gay!" but in reality wanted to know alot about what was swinging between another guys legs.

SEXIST!!! Then again things like crabs don't discriminate. CRABS FOR EVERYONE!
And whereas women have cervical/ovarian cancer, men get it in the prostate. It equals out eventually.

I have yet to meet an illness I couldn't drown with water and orange juice.
Washington state gets rid of "sexist language"Quote: In Washington state, the word "freshman" is out. And "first-year student" is in. In total, 40,000 words have been changed as part of an effort to rid state statutes of gender-biased language.
The bill, signed into law earlier in the year by Democratic Gov. Jay Inslee, went into effect this week.
And it was no small task. "This was a much larger effort than I had envisioned. Mankind means man and woman," Democratic state Sen. Jeanne Kohl-Welles of Seattle told Reuters.
"Fisherman" is now a "fisher." "Penmanship" is called "handwriting." And "manhole cover" is, well, still "manhole cover." Some words don’t have an easy replacement.
Others do: "His" is now “his and hers.” "Clergyman" is now "clergy." "Journeyman plumber" is now “journey-level plumber,” according to the Daily Mail.
According to Reuters, Washington is the fourth state to officially remove gender-biased language from the law. Others are Florida, North Carolina and Illinois. Nine other states are considering similar gender-neutral laws.
"Words matter," Liz Watson, a National Women's Law Center senior adviser, told Reuters. "This is important in changing hearts and minds."
France recently officially banned the term "mademoiselle" from official documents. The Gallic term means "miss," and French officials contended it forced women to acknowledge their marital status.
The French also bid adieu to "maiden name," which they dismissed as "archaic." They should know: Paris only recently got rid of a law that banned women from wearing pants. an awesome read about about a policy that is as idiotic as it is harmful. But what do you expect in a country where the president - the sole personification of elected authority- claims to be a feminist?`
I guess they just forgot to write the VAWA law and all the other domestic violence shelter rules in gender neutral language. Must've slipped through the cracks
Also, words only seem to matter to these c*nts when they are directed toward women, but when men are the targets, they have no problem making posters, billboards and all kinds of ads accusing MALES of being rapist, perverts, wife beaters, abusers, etc
but in the end i wonder:
Will menstruation now be personstruation?
Also will they outlaw ladies night at the local bar?
