PS3 'Redeem Code' For Beta Phase 3 Test Error

My brother jsut got the PS3 code for the Beta test and when he went in to redeem the code the PS3 said it did not recognize the code or it was invalid.

Is anyone else having this problem? Is this just a product of server traffic and too many downloads taking place on the Playstation network?

Any information I can relay to him would be greatly appreaciated.

He should of received two codes. 1 to register his beta code to a SE account and 1 for the ps3 promotion code. Did he register his beta code?

Also i'm not a 100% but his psn account might have to have the same email his SE account does. but not sure.

Thanks! I'll have him try it now as he is a huge FF fan on the consoles over the years but really lost faith after the first FFXIV. Now something like this has him all pessimistic again lol.

Also my cousin told me he tried to download it this morning and it stopped after the terms of service. So it might be congested and not working atm. so just in case he did everything right it might not download atm. hope this helped
