Need to make it so you can skill in a Sync pt, but just be capped to the skill of your sync'd level, too.

I think Kojo meant being able to sync at Lv99 > 20, being able to skill up to 99 cap, but still being capped with Lv20 skills. For example:
Skill - 150
Sync => 20
Active skill - 60
blah blah, go exp and stuff
Skill - 250
Current Level Sync => 25
Active skill - 75
So when I lose my Sync, I'll have 250 skill instead of 150

you could skill up in campaign, as it says above "once again" they removed it because people would auto attack the buildings and go afk, just like people did in assaults fighting rock walls and going afk. Lazy people find the flaws of the game & take advantage of it, ruining it for everyone.
This is a good example!
And as for campaign revamp you say? reives = Camp 2.0

It's not really a flaw in the game if a mindless activity requires constant attention or not.

Back in the day when Campaign was introduced, you could skill up rather well in battles, even on Fortifications.
However the RMT would come along with their armies of mules, throw them onto Fortifications, and skill them up with no effort, so they got rid of it.
I am glad they are reintroducing this, because we have so many players who are under skilled due to Aby burned jobs. Also it gives people an incentive to go out and do Campaign again, you can skill up and get rewards at the same time. I could still see some RMT taking advantage of it though, but I guess it wouldn't be anywhere near as bad as it was.
Edit: Its also great for those returning players who may have done Campaign in the past but have new characters. I have a friend who is coming back, and when she needs to skill, I can take my DRK with bereaver and destroy the difficult ***, then she can skill up on the smaller mobs without getting killed.

That'd be pretty hard to implement since your skillup cap is determined by monster level and not your level-monster level, which is what would be required for that to work.
Even if they allowed that, when is the last time anybody actually leveled in a sync party past Gusgen? >_>
You'd still get better skillups doing whatever it is you do right now. Gusgen doesn't really have any side-rewards that would incentivize people to go do that instead (unless you're in desperate need of tabs for whatever reason).

I don't really get why is it so hard to skill up even if you abys burned the job up. Just have to play it smart, lv 1 to 30~40 FOV will get probably 100-120 skill level. Now abys burn your character to 75 then leave abys and go skill up to 180+ takes about 2-3hrs hitting too weaks. Now put on full acc gear/atma/food and back to abys burn on worms until you reach 250+ skills then start eating skill up food. By the time you are 99 you should be at like 300-350 range, I think worm can take you upto 370 skills, by then move to altepa dolls exp pt and cap your skills. all this take is 3-4 days of work.

The worst part in that is the fact its not even difficult to skill up if you do it properly barring SMNing Magic & Enhancing Magic.
I recently burned BLU from 1 to 62 doing a Page 4 in Bostniaux Oubliettes then from 62 to 99 in Abyss, all it took me was 2 days spaming Power Attack/Headbut/Helldive/footkick on mobs of the relevant Levels to skill up to 424.
So, I personaly think if ppl cannot bother skilling up that simply, they're not gonna bother doing it in campagn battle if SE doesn't put a really good carrot tied up to the rod.

blu is super easy to skill up, in my aby burns I would get dozens of levels a day. My enhancing skill in my mules whm still is just getting close to the cap now, 4 months after my return to the game. My blu skill was capped days after my raise to 99
To compare blu skill to what a whm, sch, or smn has to deal with is just funny, they are not the same at all. I know someone who went smn to tons of my seal and coin farming when I came back, he still needs 1 smn skill to cap. This is with him spamming physical spells on high level mobs, buffing us, and calling pets in the down time.

Could you please underline where I said that its hard to skill up BLU magic?
Enfeebling/dark is super easy to skill up as well, go to Gustav, silence a worm, then spam Dia(s)/Bio(s) on it.
The same goes for elemental Magic.
I never compared any skill, my point is that if ppl wouldn't bother before this "campaign update" why would they after, if there is no valuable reward to get.
You really don't need a reviewed campaign to go out anywhere & spam enhancing magics to skill up, unless I missed somthing?
By Heimdel 2013-06-01 13:53:27
I've been sending this suggestion to them for years. Make skill caps based on zones. Out side citys would be lowest cap midways zones would be split up between intermediate and mid level caps while outlands,strongholds and citys would be max cap levels. r could have strong holds high cap while outlands and and in citys max. Though that way might be a prob if to many people doing outlands at once constantly. A skill up rate increase would be nice to when under signal.

Skilling up summoning skill isn't all that difficult either if you go out and spam BP's on mobs instead of just rotating spirits and avatars all day.
Enhancing skill is by far the worst skill to cap.

I had an easy time capping enhancing by spamming protect on my friend's Adventuring Fellow.

Personally I aby burned Corsair up, got an Armageddon, and never really used it. Why? I just couldn't be bothered to go into Abyssea to solo up my Marksmanship. Of course its probably quicker in Abyssea, but I actually thought at the time.. "wish I could just go to Campaign". Its not necessarily the option that people are going to flood too, but at least its another option.
Also skilling up two handed weapons with high delays are even worse. Some very casual player could take a drk/dnc with a scythe, and probably solo lesser mobs while skilling up very nicely, and exping at the same time.
