*edit* I'm glad they are going with aa diffirent art style for the 3DS one. Also glad to see them move away from realistic looking characters like in Brawl. Made it hard to to keep track of your character on some of the levels. Talking about you Twilight Princess Link!
Mega in smash just brought tears to my eyes lol,damn nintendo.
Well, as usual, Nintendo failed to bring the OOMPH to E3 and played it remarkably safe. Safe is not a bad thing when what the dedicated want is new installments to established franchises, though. In spite of that lack of "OOMPH," and in spite of this possibly being the hype talking, I think this has been Nintendo's best E3 showing in quite some time. If they have anything else to show off, it'll be even more so!
Also, dat Megaman and Villager. My sister loves Animal Crossing and I love Megaman, so maybe we'll actually play this one!

Overall, the reaction to the Nintendo stuff seems the same: Is this 3DS or WiiU?

It's probably worth pointing out that a missed diamond about the PS4 conferance lost in all the glory of the Microsoft TKO was that PS4 will allow Indie devs to self-publish. That's a huge deal IMO, because amazing things like The Swapper and FTL might find their way to a Console now.

Let's be honest here, Nintendo played it safe.
Nothing really amazing, but nothing really disappointing either, with both Sony and MS bringing their "A" game software wise, kinda disappointing Nintendo didn't.
That being said, Bayonetta looks like Bayonetta, which is all I coulda hoped for.
Jean showing up, riding ON TOP of a Jet, throwing missles at a massive monster on a bridge? this is why I love this game, lol.

Not the same thing at all. Letting a publisher put DRM is entirely different than locking down your console's functionality without a 24hour check-in.

so basically what you're saying is no used EA games for PS4 or XBox one? lulz
yeah, if MS was smart they'd drop the 24 check and making DRM optional and not mandatory... so basically we could see who the *** Publishers are. Chances are seeing all this E3 Backlash we're going to be seeing an announcement from MS in a few weeks.

I'm happy about this in general. As a consumer, I feel that exclusives should come down to first party development only and most third party games should be made multi-platform. If Sony wants people to buy PS4, they should make games that'll pull them to that system, same for MS for the Xbox one. I shouldn't have to buy a PS4 cause I wanna play one game a third party put on that specific console.
