400mp spell - Occult+30(Helios)+Trait = 320 TP 400mp spell - Trait(Occult+50) + STP 70 = 340 TP 400mp spell - Trait(Occult+50) + STP 50 = 300 TP 400mp spell - Occult+30(Helios)+Trait+STP 70 = 544 TP *Unless my math is off then at the very least SAM roll = Occult+30. Update: I added up all thunder spell cost rounded and applied same math. Thunder spell cost (Helios+STP) - if you can cycle Thundaja down to tier1 within 11tics or :33 then SAM roll is best for TP return over Tactician's. Blizzard seems to be within 10tics. So possibly Fire 9tics and down in that order. - Ofc capped m.haste would make SAM roll an even more potent zerg over Tacticians. You don't really seem to understand that any buff is a tradeoff. If you can maintain MP without it, you look at what options you have to better utilize that MP. For example, warlock's roll is often going to add more damage than any bodypiece you could be using. By swapping to AF body and keeping warlock's roll, you would end up with greater available MP and higher damage than keeping an offensive body and using samurai roll.
Any individual choice must be examined in the context of the entire situation. In almost all cases, AF119 body amounts to unlimited MP at a cost of only ~30 MAB. For a refresh buff to be worth it, the alternative buff must be worse than that ~30 MAB. I want MAX DPS guy. ffs man idgaf bout trivial things. I'm cool w/ everything you and everyone else threw at me. I just want to do things better. If it's 29 mab crit combo mixed w/ Cascade and Tactian + SAM + Wizards roll w/ marches and haste. Then that's what it is.

'MAX DPS' is different depending on your target, available buffs, and many other things. If you can't understand why this is the case, you're hopeless.
Ideal nuke party is probably something like: BRD - marchx2 int etudex2 GEO - Acumen, malaise GEO - Focus, languor COR - wizard's, warlock's BLM SCH - storm ii, skillchains with af119 body used in situations where MP could potentially run out, and not used in situations where it won't might be better off replacing the BRD with a second BLM and getting out of party haste2 if m.acc is capped, definitely would swap warlock's roll for samurai if m.acc is capped I couldn't find any info whatsoever on how to calculate the exact amount of tp bonus using store tp for occult acumen. Someone could probly write the formula up someplace better than I can. If already known and available info or common knowledge my apologies. Couldn't find it.

Consumes all mp. If it fails, inflicts darkness damage. Question is, will it gives you tp return based on mp consumed ? If so, it could mean cycling endlessly through death > myrkr > death > myrkr ^^ Sounds better than Cascade at the very least.
I cast w/ around 1600mp in gear so..... let's say 1280 TP return. 2176 TP return using SAM roll. Which would return bk around a little more than 1250mp w/ 2500mp Myrkr set. So yeah. Maybe. To some extent. Assuming Occult works w/ it. Death sounds good. until we discover death has a 10 minutes cooldown ^^

Looking beyond that tho it does sound useful regardless atm. Being Darkness based too means Pixie+1 should work as well. Just curious lowest base cost to cast and wether or not the mp spent alters the dmg dealt. Not to mention the base dmg itself. Too many questions..... not enough JPs
