last i heard, 5 bombs and 2 dead. 3 bombs went off, 1 was "controlled detonated" (but all that really tells us is something set the dog off, so maybe no bomb at all.) and 1 was being dismantled as of about 15 minutes ago.
i didn't go into town for the marathon, but my best friend left for his honeymoon today out of logan... i'm not even sure if i should call him? i'm pretty sure they'd have been long gone by the time this went off and do i wanna worry them needlessly on their honeymoon?
as for whodunnit... we're not the police/homeland security... i'm gonna watch adventure time, try not to lose my ***, and worry about that once somebody actually KNOWS something as opposed to just THINKS something.

Tenshi, the "facts" that you are spreading hold no merit and are widely disputed or just plain false. Every major news outlet is all over this. Your link is the ONLY piece of "information" that is quoted as saying 12 fatalities and more than 50 injured. Everything else states 2 deaths and roughly 49 injured. Also it's the only piece of information that is quoted as as having a suspect. I watched the Boston Police chief state specifically that there are NO suspects as of now and are working to find out who is responsible.
The spread of propaganda is as bad if not worse than creating it.

it really seems to me that the ny post is simply trying to politicize the whole incident. thats very distasteful, especially to the people who have family or friends injured etc. because of it.

The major news channels are just about on the same page. The police have their list of usual suspects which may include muslims.

Yes, if you bothered to read Peelbo's link, the Boston Police Department saying they do not have any suspects atm is in response to NY Post saying they do.

Which was updated less than 10 minutes ago with the Boston PD spokesperson reiterating that they still do not have anyone in custody.
I have new rumors, and I stress, these are just rumors that there was an explosion at a train station with several fatalities. I recall hearing something about a train station earlier today but I would think that it would be televised if it were true. He's saying that they haven't televised it due to not wanting to cause public panic.
