I'm showing 8pm-11pm. Finally move to JP time zone, and I still get the bone on maintenance times

You'll be asleep while we suffer through maintenance, then when maintenance is over Adoulin isn't even available yet.
Then we have to wait hours until they announce that it's open, and we rush in and find so many broken bugs and exploits that they do an emergency maintenance for 5 more hours, going off and on throughout the day.
When you're just about to wake up maintenance ends and you can play Adoulin without any of that stress.

Twilight Scythe nerf because GEO is getting a spell that causes an AOE effect that makes weapon do non-elemental and/or because RUN will have non-elemental GS?

You mean it's not all gumdrops and lolly pops raining from the sky as I see teens cosplay daily as their favorite new anime and I go down to arcades and have a blast playing some seizurific vidyaz with my japanese franz?
One of the main things i loved about ffxi is that in general, they dident nerf content to push players through it like some games (/cough WOW).....

I'm sorry, I know this expansion is gonna be awesome and everything for everyone and that in itself should be enough for me to un-retire my FFXI account, but
I seriously went on a rant about not being able to use it in the first place. Not like when PUP's H2H skill was 225 at 75. Like after skill level was increased and we were all level 85 or something.
Oh also non-NM monsters dropping gear in Bha. Remnants. AndalltheothernewstuffIguess....

I really do hope that SE added more than 6 Synergy recipes. I was kind of hoping for something new for GS. :| Or more of...Something.

i can't help but have a feeling that it won't help on synths past a certain lvl, or something along that line. i don't think it's gonna increase the amount of new hexed -1's by a significant amount even if there isn't a synthing lvl cap on it either :( but we can hope!

Was it this update/expansion that MNKs were supposed to get their new belt or is that one of the later version updates?
I suppose everyone else will also occasionally get through the retry screen and have their file check do its work, only to see the retry screen again at the downloading portion? Lamesauce.

Very interesting. I like the sound of that. Might prove more interesting then conquest/campaign-style updates where levels don't matter until Sunday morning. This plus the coalition buildings actually changing the way they look based on level seems to be the first truly dynamically changing system in the game.

Same thing has happened to me twice.
1. Check files.
2. Retry spam.
3. Finally downloads latest version information.
4. Checks files again.
5. Disconnect, start from 2. /tableflip

Yeah, I'm at the table flipping stage...
so i havnt been able to get on update all day. Error 1160 over and over. Retry after retry and no luck. Then outa nowhere i hit retry and it says my password is incorrect. So i log in again with a token number of almost all 6's.... now i can update.
