Never mind, sometimes I'm an idiot, just replaced the files in FFXI folder. It is however mising 24 files which got caught in the update

gooooooooooood so slow update.. wtf.. Other friends speed is way faster..wtf gives... same ISP too.... Mine be going for 4 hours now, and im at 57% his has been running for 1 hour and he is at 75% wtf grrrrrr.....

It's probably less people being dumb and more people trying to force the price. A bunch of people on my server decided to buy out all the petrified logs and re-sell them for 300k to each other until the whole history was covered.

I honestly don't know how many people will actually fall for this. It's more annoying than anything else.

FOr those who use or care, Windower 4.0 has stopped working on my PC and Ashita on laptop / PC.

Oddly though, windower 4,0 now runs on my laptop but didn't previously!

New area's and content is not available. for 2 days - it tells you this when you go into the start up screen

Is anyone else unable to launch the game? Mine crashes with nothing else running.

I can log in even with all my plugins loaded but the moment I do anything it borks. So SC is definitely broken, not sure what else is.

Did Maintainance take longer than expected or something? I went to bed after getting maint warnings last night. Figured the heavy server traffic would be over by now. But it seems people just started downloading. lol

Anybody planning to do some kind of testing? (I'm not that good on testing stuff)

Extract it in to your FFXI folder:

If you are 64bit then here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI

32 bit should just be like this:

C:\Program Files\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI

If you use xp be careful not to replace things wrong. Extracting to will work but if you just drag and drop it may not merge like windows 7 will.

If you have win7 you can also just extract it to some random folder and literally highlight all the rom folders and drop them in to the above locations. It'll pop up a warning saying this folder already contains these folders and asks if you want to merge. Say yes. Then it will say there is already files with the same name. At the bottom there is a check box for "Do this for all conflicts" check that box and then hit the top option for "Move and replace".

This will merge everything together.

Feel free to ask for further instruction if you have a different set up.
