Depends on content/enemy. Theres not really a set designed for "HF" since sets are built around the enemy you are engaging.

Anything that matters you would be under min/mad/march, so just ride mid-acc impetus. (Unless doing VD~ AA/DM/BC then Acc adjustments will obviously need to be made accordingly)

any reason to consider kick attack damage from Hes. Hose and Achorite's Gaiters +1 for TP.

I brought this up a couple pages back. I tried them in the spreadsheet though and they don't beat Otronif +1. I also tried them against my current set (Quiahuiz Leggings and Otronif with DA+1) and they were still losing by a few dps.

I didn't try fabricating ilvl 119 stats on the legs to see if that would make a difference. I figured if it did, it would be too miniscule for me to bother.

I'm also a bit curious about Hes. Hose and Anchorite's Gaiters +1. Putting them into the spreadsheet with my current gear, which since I just came back isn't good, I found them to be pretty great for easy stuff (setting at Delve Fodder). They were beating Otronifx2, Otronif+1x2, Quaihuiz Legs and Otronif+1 feet, and a few other combinations I tried by around 20-30 DPS. I imagine they become worse on harder content though due to lack of Accuracy, Attack, PDT, ect.

I don't bother to spreadsheet anything weaker than Tojil. They were a 3 dps loss for me verse that target. I can't remember now if I simulated buffs or not. I also can't remember how much worse they were than ideal Otronif.

I imagine for Tojil they would not be too ideal, but for a low accuracy Monk set to use on ***like Skirmish/VW/RoE/Whatever I think they are pretty good.

Anchortite feet +1 are inferior to otronif ilevel 113. There are some feet from AAGK with a good chunk of dex on them which are think are best acc pieces. They look like kicks shoes but I didn't hear of anyone testing them. Those would be interesting ! They drop from galka AA, assume people still do this ***.

Yeah, I use Daihanshi Habaki in my full accuracy set.

Obviously Anchorite Feet +1 are inferior to ideal Otronif, but the comparison is with Relic Legs.

I personally use Quiahuiz Leggings with ilvl 113 Otronif Feet +1 DA aug. I compared these on the spreadsheet against Relic Legs + Anchorite Feet +1 and they came out just slightly worse.

So, getting Otronif Feet (or Otronif Legs) augmented with +2 DA would make Relic Legs and Anchorite Feet both obsolete.

The way I see it, Relic Hands are pretty fantastic. I would definitely +1 them if you haven't. The other relic I wouldn't bother taking past 109.

Personally, I'm not bothering with the ilvl 119 Otronif gear just yet either. I have a feeling they will come out with Empyrean gear before too long, and if history repeats itself, our ideal TP set could be something like: Felistris Mask, Empyrean Body, Relic Gloves, Empyrean Legs, Empyrean Feet.

If I get bored enough, I'll try out some new Skirmish and just go with whatever augments I personally farm, but I'm not going to dump a bunch of money in to it until this whole "new-sidegrades-every-other-month" thing settles down.

Using the spreadsheet I'm getting Anchorite+1 and Hes. Hose being 12 DPS over Quiahuiz and Otronif+1 with Crit+2 augment, not a huge difference but it does seem to be better (for Delve Trash setting). When compared to 113 Otronif the difference is around 15 DPS.

I'd imagine Relic pants would be better, as long as Acc/Att isn't an issue, but I haven't tested this.

For a low accuracy set Hes Hose are definitely better than Mani, even more so if you use Anchorite+1 feet. Properly augmented Otronif should still beat the 109 Hes Hose though. Mani Pants are mainly an accuracy piece. I imagine when 119 Hes Hose+1 comes out it will probably be the best low accuracy TP legs though.

Low-accuracy set is starting to become obsolete. Only events where I don't care about accuracy are Delve (always get Madrigal) and pre-SoA stuff.

I agree. The only content that doesn't require accuracy is old content, and even then doing it in a low accuracy set isn't going to do much more than save a bit of time. Though by all means it's helpful to have a low accuracy set for that, but no point going out of one's way to acquire gear for old content.

That's why I put Felistris Mask on low priority. I have Whirlpool Mask and Lithelimb Cap depending on the situation. No new Otronif gear here. I'm working on too many other things to spend much time/money on Skirmish. Although, I do have to say that I enjoy the new Skirmish 100x more than Yorcia.

Oh, and I'm about to run out of the office, but if memory serves, Hesychast Hose have dex on them, right? That makes them one of the only legs that have dex. 119 will definitely be best for Shijin Spiral.

You can add it in yourself.

- Click on the "Gear Lists" tab at the bottom.
- In the "A" Column you should see Weapons and then as you keep reading down it has a list of weapons. If you keep scrolling down about row 400ish (not exactly sure as I've added in a lot of different augmented Otronif gear) you will find the list of Legs.
- Insert a Row (preferably between Hachiryu and Kaabnax) and add Hesychast Hose. Be sure to include all the relevant stats in the appropriate columns. Kick Attack rate percent should be in Column T.
- Make sure you put in the correct value of haste (column W). It is NOT done in percentages, so if you only put in 6 instead of 61, you will not get an accurate dps calculation.

Now, if I'm not mistaken, you may lose an item off the drop-down list in the Gear tab. The spreadsheet I have at work has Data Validation grayed out so I'm not sure how Motenten set it up. If his drop-down list calls something like cells A100-A150, then you will just have to delete a row for every new row you insert.

To better explain, after adding Hesychast's Hose, you may no longer be able to see Xux in the Legs drop-down list. If this is the case, and you want to see Xux leggings for some reason, just delete some other row. Or, you may want to edit the range for the drop down list, however, it looks like Data Validation is grayed out on my spreadsheet in the Gear workbook. It's probably also grayed out for you too, so you'll have to talk to Motenten about that.

As long as you insert a new row between existing gear items, you never have to worry about losing items in the list. If you add the item at the end of the list or before the first item, you'll need to adjust the named areas (note: NOT data validation; also data validation should only be greyed out on the Gear page, not the Gear List page) for the item list and gear stats.

I apologize if this has been asked or stated already, but are the gear sets on the first page updated to most current equipment? I haven't played in a couple months and trying to catch up and just want to make sure I'm not working towards something that has since been replaced.

Thanks!

Updated Mote's Mnk Sheet with newer gear.

Basic setting 12/12 str/dex, kick/counter 5/5, 16 H2H 5/5 Shijin, used boost since figuring 6 man with basic gear 2 songs March/Minuet w/ SV, yes to Imp/Focus or Aggressor/Berserk, Ionis, Red curry, what you would expect from 6 man tojil.

Sets will change based on your brd and other buffs/debuffs of course. Would highly recommend downloading Mote's sheets Mote's Hard Work and update them yourself with current gear and your personal buff situation.

Haste Set:

Victory Smite:

Sorry, just Copy/Paste from Sheet, did not feel like making item sets.

EDIT/Note: I have a feeling that the Hes. Hose +1 will end up being best in slot for haste sets, as of now it is only slightly behind the Otronif +1 with Dbl. @ iLV109.

Not sure how you managed to include Hes gloves+1 ... Unless you absolutely need the acc they suck. From the gear you put in other TP slot I would say you need acc so the best set for something that doesnt require much of ACC would be

? x x Potestas
Felistris mask / asperity / tripiudo / brutal
Thaumas / otronif +1, 2% DA / rajas / epona
atheling / windbuffet / otronif +1, 2% crit / otronif +1, 2% crit

And for TP something like

The sets are just a random suggestion Pchan, every single set made using Mote's sheets will change item depending on buffs etc. A single change in just Focus being down changes your set, which is why most use multi lv Acc/att sets 3-4 tiers. Few post looking for suggestions on set, and of course one posted and follow up poster quick to jump on it. ffxiah toxicology FTW.
