Noo fortitude torque beaten :(
I'd still keep using Corneus Ring and Eta Earring personally, I did store my torques long ago as the medals saved inv space and were good BLU spell pieces.
Yeah, I don't even have all the gear listed on that set, but he asked for the best. For earrings I just roll with a Kemas. <.<

I didn't see it mentionned and I forgot it in my sets, but the eariing combo brutal+TP bonus moonshade is the better than bladeborn/steel flash
I think you all need to take a step back on this momentous day, Pchan is advocating TP bonus moonshade.
Question: "I got 4 SET and not sure which is Optimal for VS DMG"
SET 1: ItemSet 315277 SET 2: ItemSet 315278 SET 3: ItemSet 315280 SET 4: ItemSet 315281 I yet to Try it out Manibhozo Legs RANK 15 PATH A Otronif Hands AUG: DA+1% Otronif Harness AUG: ATK+8 Otronif Feet AUG: ACC+5 Phoenix.Dramatica said: » I think you all need to take a step back on this momentous day, Pchan is advocating TP bonus moonshade. What you guys think of Quiahuiz Leggings? Just got from WK and wondering if it compares to Mani legs R15, for TP that is. Little less Attack but gains Extra Double Attack Damage.
Realistically, Crit/DA augments are doing about the same. If you're using Verethragna or Glanzfaust, crit will make a slightly discernible lead in most situations.
Has there been any testing on the new WKR legs? Offline

Verethragna will have you almost exclusively using Smite, and Glanz OA2-3 devalues the slight lead DA had in a few situations. Probably just better with crit augments in general at this point but it's not as though DA is bad.

smite is the best with all weapons
Here is my current TP gear:
ItemSet 311404 I tried to spreadsheet the new lion legs with 5% DA dmg, and Ontrif still came out ahead. Also, While Shijin was showing more dmg with my gear, Smite was the better choice because of rounds between WS. Offline

Smite averages 5k when I farm pluton on raptor (brd buffer), and I'm below acc cap probably. The parse says I'm at 45% crit rate on TP on average, because the fights are so quick that you end up having impetus most of the time. Nvm the skillchain potential.

Don't flame me, honest question. Is a Double Attack-based TP-set worth it vs. Thaumas/Windbuffet? ie:
ItemSet 315360 This is 24% Double Attack, not counting the 3 Otronif pieces with Double-Attack/Crit-Hit augs. With a job like Monk taking two swings, you're gonna hit an awful lot more than twice. Good for TP or a waste? Zoltar said: » Don't flame me, honest question. Why?
You're giving up a fair bit of potential by trading 3% Triple Attack and 3% Quadruple Attack for a mere 2% increase in Double Attack (the Critical Hit Rate gains are not nearly enough to bridge the gap in terms of both DPS and TPpS). That really shouldn't need to even be explained.
Cetl Belt is a more interesting piece to look at, but as the Haste is unnecessary, it boils down to a comparison between 2% Triple Attack & 1% Quadruple Attack versus 4% Double Attack. Mathematically it is really no competition: Windbuffet still wins. Finding a way to actually utilize the Haste on Cetl Belt by swapping out something else is where you might make some gains. I cannot think of any good examples at the moment as my familiarity with gear is not what it used to be. Apparently my internal database has looked at the stat vomit on new pieces and shut down shop. I just thought the additional 9% DA from Juogi +1 & Cetl Belt could offer some decent competition to Thaumas Coat/Windbuffet

Finally I'm done with the 300 plutons >_>. We farmed mata/raptor/peiste in the fracture @ 18 NMs per 1H30, buying rocks only (90k for 3 NMs..). It's much faster than farming raptors outside (since pop are never at the AH= or matama (probably camped). I think raptor farming is 6 NMs per hours if you count farm time. Got mdk his 300 riftborn boulders at the same time as well as 200 beitestu for our mythics..
Anybody have a victory smite gear set? We add more strength now instead of dex ? And stack up on double attack? Thanks
ItemSet 315403
This is my VS set so far, needs a lot of work I'm sure, anyone got any feedback on what I could do better? Edit: I'd imagine Justiciar's Torque + Windbuffet or Anguinus Belt would do better? Were you able to math out those legs as being better? I wasn't able to get the spreadsheet to work out any real use for the ice legs over otronif or R15 Manibozo
ItemSet 315421 Hands have DA+2% All Manibozho are R15 STR Things I tried to change - Ammo for Honed tathlum Legs for Ice Legs, DA otronif Waist for Anguinus Belt Body for Thaumas, Otronif (DA+2%) Head for Whirlpool (wins with impetus down) But this set seemed to work best for Delve fodder/Tojil with at least haste, focus, Impetus. Edit: Because of annoying forum trolls, I redid this with all buffs spreadsheet can do in all possible combinations, including cor/brd buffs, and never found a situation where ice legs were better. |
