I like cute and fluffy. I can put in twilight, dring, emet, merman, etc. but I usually don't have to put in a full-on dt set on thf (do for mnk) still missing that lithe. head. though.

I'm not a fan of carrying billion of sets, and if I'm already lowing the dmg down to manageable level, then why bother carrying that many set. beside that plate have 0 mdb.
My point was, it's easier to distribute hate as thf than another dd. With that said, many times dds are going to take dmg regardless (sans you pussy rangers!)

Yes and no. THF doesn't really shift hate around, Decoy shot does that. TA only takes 1 hit damage, and gives it to the Victim. Which essentially does nothing, with the way enmity works. It's great for a couple seconds. /joy
Now if Trick was a STANCE which it *** SHOULD BE... then you'd be right.
Yea i guess distribute wasn't the best word. Back to my viper bite though - it does somewhat reasonable dmg stacked now - if you are having serious hate problems. I still am baffled though; I may be in parties with exceptional tanks, im topping dmg many times and having an easier time surviving on thf (on hard mode BCs mostly)

I still don't see your point of macro in that plate, sacrific huge stat boost/hp/acc for something with 0 benefit. it is so easy to cap mdt with shell and ilvl gear. the next stat boost should be MDB.

So back to the pdt, Is the reason Lithelimb and Umuthi over Iuitl because of accuracy? And is it safe to assume I should just not care about gearing for evasion ever, because anything that is strong enough to hit hard I have no chance of capping eva on.

The object is not to WEAR the plate, it is to BLINK into it for 1 second to absorb the magical hit. I agree that it's a poor choice, vs basically any 119 piece though, due to MDB.
He was just trying to help you out, not sure what made him think of that instead of wayfarer's coat, but we all make mistakes. possibly a no shell scenario?
