Torcleaver gear for pld DD fun
My main question is how ares' +1 gear does for DD? Particularly the mask, whether 40 attack is gonna beat out twilight helm and other weapon skill pieces.
Gearing pld to fit a weaponskill's needs isnt a problem specialy torcleaver. The problem lies in the lack of attack so i would problably say go with more attack since pld Has high vit already. I would go Ares over twilight. Geting 10 str , vit for pld is easy but finding 40att on one peace of gear is hard to beat. Thats my opinion correct me if im wrong.
That whole set is great, but I rarely see it being worn?
Well next question, best body for Torcleaver dd paladin?

Switch out hoard for a d ring and you got 18- dt still plus third eye and you still got some decent tankage lol

Well cap haste, and then +str, vit and attack? Also store tp and double attack?
My goal is a great sword pld in abby? Just for dding I'm getting a calad for drk anyway so why not! Edit: also I wasn't planning on weapon skill swapping a ton of ***in.
Better off getting an almace if you want to DD on pld in aby. Just because you can doesnt mean you should.

You expect to do 6k torcleavers with no gearswaps?
So you ask how to gear torclever when told you do what ever you want any way when shown the correct gear set? Seems legit.

if youre just dding, why not make a set thats made for simply dding. Efficient dding on pld is already impossible, less so with a hybrid..bleh set. Having fun in abys is your business, but i wouldnt advocate a w/e set that is for it.

I was just showing them the one I had put together and trying to get an opinion instead I've gotten a page of insults and still no answer as to why my gear set is "confusing"... What is weird about it other than its not 100% tping then %100 weapon skill?
Why the hell would you be against gearswapping anyway? It's a game mechanic, it's not some kind of cheating lol.

tp gear =/= WS gear except in slim occasions.
A. Using a great sword on paladin isn't that great.
B. if your not really going to gear swap you'd be better wearing sword and shield.
To answer your question it's 3 sets rolled into one which hurts your overall output/performance. You want t a to set. Damage reduction set and a weapon skill set to be doing the great sword justice if you insist on using it on paladin
