I think Vlor got his hands on Art's account and posted racist gangster dating videos. Naw meen niiga?!
Put simply, there was a mix up on a video posted. Arte was topic banned due to this mix up, but because it was a video, not an image, the topic ban was reversed and the video undeleted. After a few minutes of confusion, I assumed I had undeleted the video so I deleted it again. >.>

I would imagine that, with the inappropriate video, you can choose to not watch it and it's not immediately out there in the open. With an inappropriate image, it is what it is. There's no choosing not to see it.
Thus they're stricter on the images. That and any searches on Google could show said images coming from here, which they probably consider bad for business.

For one.. What Vlor said. For two, Google scans the images posted here fairly regularly and rate the site. The site has gotten such a bad rating in the past that ads were pulled, rules were rewritten, the mods of that time went and removed many, MANY images (I still run across them) and we got lucky and were granted the ads back which according to Scragg "never happens." Oddly enough despite Google owning Youtube, they don't seem to scan videos. However certain rules still stand; no nudity (cartoon or otherwise), no videos containing RL footage of another user without consent, etc.

Also, if you are curious about the video above, it's my personal opinion that videos containing racial and homophobic slurs should be prohibited, but it was undeleted by the mod who deleted it in the first place and I'd rather not step on their toes. Consider it pending deletion for now.
