All appliances are pretty much the same. Check the voltage requirements on the monitor itself. It will have a sticker around it's power connector stating it's input voltage.

According to my sources, FFXI works fine in North Korea



As far as South Korea goes, he doesn't have any friends there to check with.

looks like i'm going to need a new router one that is compatible with DD-WRT firmware, whatever that is. the korean router i've been using is no go. my return to ffxi is pushed back yet again bah!

hmm ok i got it up and running, but i'm definitely r0ing far more than i used to. not sure if that's due to the VPN or what but yeah it's pretty bad.

What is your destination set on the VPN? Should be "Japan: fast from US" or one of the other Japanese servers.

i just click on "japan" on the list, and it usually connects to "tokyo 3"

tokyo 3 is faster than "fast from US". not sure about r0 rate though we'll see.

Mine is usually connecting to "fast from USA" but I also change it if it's slow. Those each different servers in Japan, sometimes one gets overloaded so you gotta change it. In any case, you can play FFXI now ^^

... yeah and considering quitting -.- my friend explained to my SoA and how all the SoA activity works and i don't know that i really have it in me to delve into that much stuff again. i really hate how SE keeps making the gear we amass worthless.
