Haloween Costumes (home Made) ?

been looking around everywhere i can think of as work is giving a 50 to the winner of a works halloween comstume party and i kinda could use the cash ^^

sadly all the male ones i can find are either rentals / look really crap / cost too much / make the wearer look like a total mincer


hoping for something that is kinda cool and maybye scares small children ^^/

oh and doesent cost 50+ to make lol

if you are good at painting, can never go wrong with paper mache masks and such, could make a good zombie/monster one doing this with some old torn clothes and fake blood as well.

going as Finn from adventure timne this year myself, only thing i had to get was bout 20$ fabric to make the green bag, hat came with the new Dvd <,<

You could get a bunch of small colored balloons and a big clear trash bag. Cut holes in the trash bag for your limbs and head, fill it with (blown-up) colored balloons, wear a solid black or white outfit underneath and BAM! You're a bag of jelly beans.

seems cheap as all id need is to wreck a cheap hoodie and splash on some fake blood^

I wasn't going to dress up this year, but suddenly my professor was like, "20 extra credit points to anyone who comes to class in costume." And I'm struggling in that class, so I found myself struggling to find a costume. I've finally come upon what I used to wear before I decided to wear what I wear now. So this year, I'm going as a Metal musician! Gonna bring my guitar and everything!

edit: Pretty much this, sans my awesome long hair. I miss that hair...

If you are REALLY bashful, you can get your hands on a red and white striped sweatshirt and beanie and go as Waldo. Then you have an excuse for hiding in the backs of all the parties trying to avoid talking to strangers. xD

My wife is going to be an Oreo cookie tonight. She bought two pieces of thick brown posterboard from hobby lobby. She printed some stencils from the interwebz and has drawn the entire face of an Oreo on the brown boards. She'll wear a white shirt for the creme.

I'm going as a traffic light. I spray painted a cardboard box with a dark hunter green color. I cut 3 circular holes in the front. I got three circle push lights from wal-mart. I covered a light with red, a light with yellow, and a light with green tissue paper. I put the lights on the inside of the box with only the circle face sticking through the hole in the box. When you push the lights, they light up and shine the appropriate color.

Cost us roughly 10-15 bucks per costume. Took me about an hour and a half to do everything. Took her about two.

i honestly dont really get most of the non scary halloween costumes and going as a domino definatley wouldent win me anything im certain of that.

sorry if i came across as rude with the domino comment it wasnt intended to be, and thanks i have really put some work into it ^^

bought a big hoodie, some red contact lenses , lots of silver duct tape , and loads of different color makeups oh and some blood^^ infact lots of blood :p really lots

my final form ^^ i hope you liked it^^ it was fun dressing up but sadly in the competition i only came 3rd 2 girls came dressed in short skirts (unbeatable lol).

Won Most horrifying costume at my local barcade Shoryuken :)
