Maybe take the personal pissing match somewhere else other than the thread that is discussing the biggest economic game changing update the game has ever known?
I've been nearly chain-smoking joints and laughing for the last 2hrs at least, this is sheer entertainment to me.
I always get a kick out of the "this is all a joke to me" replies
Not that it was a joke, but that I was very entertained the entire time. He seems mad, I was laughing, he's a funny guy.

If you have the means to fix a market with little oversight to your own favor, you would be stupid not to, as somebody else will likely do it. Probably better off making friends with people who have a greater purchasing power than yourself if you wish to compete in the same market. Petty rivalries over a predictable manipulation in supply and demand is just that... Petty.

How much do you guys think prices will go down in general in the next few weeks? They cost 4.1m to make on your server. The HQ is worth over 50m, easily. Not the right thing to look for sympathy on.
(Price drop is pretty unpredictable, the people with buying power aren't the people buying NQ hexed and wasting their abjs though.)

I like my previous statement that just because you ride a bike places doesn't mean the high gas prices won't affect you. Food and entertainment prices will also rise in due time because of gas as well.
When you apply this same theory to a game with an economic flow the results will be the same in one way or another. You'll notice when people stop buying from your bazaar or AH because they can't afford anything anymore.
It will take time for this to happen but it will.

Wouldn't raising the cap to Abyssea to 70 fix the rmt problem? (no I'm not starting that convo.. it just makes more sense to me than nerfing the prices.. I doubt many RMT will take the time to level a character to 70.)

Sorry, I meant that I am one of the people who DIDN'T make a ton of gil from it. Which is why I'm upset it's gone, I would only really use it in small amounts when I got low on gil and didn't feel like farming.

There's other ways to make gil. Have to find it out on your own. Start skilling your crafts and/or find rare drops to sell-spam. Welcome to the old days of getting gil.

everything comes to a end. but i am happy it never will effect me :) but regardless people will find more ways to make gil as will rmt. A chapter ends a new one begins.

an update of nothing but negitive and bug fixes. think i'm done with the game until the next expansion pack comes out.

Just a random thought .-. No it wouldnt fix the problem since you can just GoV powerlevel lowlevel characters with highlevel ones in certain places, youd only delay their inevitable entry to abyssea by a couple days.
The STF doesnt ban accounts fast enough, i'd theorize they do a purge only on a monthly basis which is plenty of a window of opportunity to get a fresh character to 70 then abuse it for FC cruoring for a few weeks.

Where did I show Anger or any display of emotion that was negative? It takes a lot to piss me off and it's definitely not someone over a computer. You'd have to my girlfriend and cheat on me or hurt my family. I've been laughing this whole time, never once was I 'mad.' This is a game, are you kidding me?

For me HMP are the wildcard. Nearly every other item will surely see a price drop over time. Sure there are a dozen people per server fishing haks but they probably cover the AH fees on flame/breeze geodes from a fountain/sink perspective. But HMP are getting hit from two sides. One, the supply will probably shrink due to fewer people doing voidwatch. Whether that is a lot or a little remains to be seen. But on the other side, many buyers were funding their emps with crour so they won't be buyers at high price points anymore. So there are conflicting forces at work.
Likewise, people will probably increase dynamis farming for gil which will bring more currency into the market. But as HMP become harder to come by, perhaps a few people who had their eyes on emps will look to a relic instead. I know I've gone back and forth on emp or relic for a monk weapon. There will be a re-equilibrium over the coming weeks. And then when perfect defense gets nerfed and it takes an alliance to kill ADL instead of 3 two boxers the currency/hmp equilibrium will shift again when marrows double in price.

[Issues Addressed]
The following issues have been fixed:
- The issue below has been fixed in Meeble Burrows:
An issue wherein players were immediately kicked out if every player in the party logged out and logged back in within 3 minutes whilst in the burrows.
An issue wherein the stock number of key items, “Moblin pheromone sack” was sometimes incorrect in certain situations when talking to the NPC ‘Burrow Investigator’ in Upper Jeuno (I-8)
An issue wherein a confirmation window would be displayed when talking to the NPC ‘Vrednev’ in Sauromugue Champaign(J-7) when the party consisted of fewer than 3 members.
- In the quest ‘Shattering Stars ’ and corresponding quests:
An issue wherein it was only possible to challenge BF once with ‘xx’s testimony’
*A bug has been confirmed when challenging BF where a message saying ‘xx’s testimony has been annulled!’ is displayed. The message has been fixed and BF can now be challenged up to 3 times.
In addition, ‘xx’s testimony’ is also returned to the PC whenever it’s possible to challenge BF again.
- During Besieged: an issue wherein when the player was KO’d and the battle ended but did not receive XP after being revived.
